Dr. Ayyaz Mahmood Shah, DO

I waited 6 months for an appointment for him to check skin by my eye and give me a full body scan. He looked at my body and then my eye, told me he saw nothing after I explained it is a scaly flake by the corner of my eye. Told me to send a picture when it happened again. Went out to my car and the scale WAS present, he just didn't see it. I went back into the office and he refused to come look at me. They told me to take a picture even though I was still in the office. Office manager took the picture, and I was called 2 days later. From that picture (but he couldn't see it in person?) he was able to tell me it was basal cell carcinoma! They wanted to schedule with a plastic surgeon for removal. I immediately called Schweiger who saw me that same day. Apologized that his office even put that scare of cancer in me due to the eye medication used, pictures and presence of a scale. They explained that it was a reaction to the medication and if discontinued it should disappear, which it… has. It is disgraceful the world we live in where you wait months to see someone, then refuses to see you AFTER they didn't fully examine and then has the audacity to call and say cancer and a specialist is needed. I am not sure how people like this have a degree, but I will be pursuing an official complaint to have him investigated for malpractice.

Dr. Shah was knowledgeable and was able to give a quick diagnoses and treatment plan. I'm quite satisfied with the results.

I went in to have botox injections for hyperhydrosis of my palms as I had severe sweating where I was not even able to hold hands with my boyfriend. Dr. Ayyaz Shah reassured me that my condition was quite common and they were familiar with treating this condition with Botox. I called nearly every Dermatology practice in Orlando and surrounding area and the next closest doctor that performed the Botox injections into the palms or feet was in the Florida Panhandle. So i decided to get the Botox injections and literally within the next few weeks, nearly all of my sweating had gone away, I am so happy that I do not have to be embarrassed in public to shake someone's hand or to hold my boyfriend's hand. We need more doctors like Dr. Ayyaz Shah, Thank you for caring and doing so much for our community!

Best Doctor in the area! I feel so lucky and blessed to have found Dr Shah. My skin is the best it's ever better now than even in my youth. Thank you, Dr Shah for taking such good care of me.

I really enjoyed my visit, did not have to wait long. Dr. Ayyaz diagnosed my condition quickly and accurately, I have also scheduled appointments for my children to be seen by Dr. Ayyaz.

I drove nearly 5 hours just to visit Dr. Ayyaz Shah. I was quite impressed, he took the extra time to make me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns. There is no shortage of dermatologists in my area, however this is the dermatologist I wanted to visit and consult with regarding my hair loss and I am so glad that I did. I followed his advice and am now seeing very nice results and hair is starting to look thicker and not falling out any more.
