Dr. Azadeh Lisa Majlessi, MD

Dr. Majlessi was in charge of taking care of my dermatomyositis when I was diagnosed at the age of 5. I am now 23 and still no flare up. She guided my mom on how to take care of me and provided the best care for me to win my battle. I will always be thankful for all that she did for me.

She really cares about her patients. Love her!

Dr. Majlessi is my doctor for Lupus. She spends a lot of time with the patient. She is compassionate and listens attentively. She refills prescriptions promptly. She remembers every detail about the patient. Only minor complaint is that the wait is a bit long. That's because she spends a lot of time with the patients. Highly recommended.

She listens, explains things fully, knows your chart. She’s helped me so much.

I’ve tried calling numerous days , but each time I just get a message to call back. In the past when I was able to reach her and get an appointment, I was very satisfied with the care she provided.

I went to this Dr for the first time. After waiting over an hour I heard she was still at the DMV. I find it unprofessional for any one to keep a patient waiting for over an hour. If the wait will be that long call and reschedule!

Dr. Majilessi is a very knowledgeable, competent rheumatologist who has a depth of medical knowledge, as well as knowledge about contemporary medical insurance processes. She listens to her patients carefully and is both professional and kind. I am very happy that she is my doctor,

The best doctor we found for our daughter - so happy with her!!

I had this doctor when I was about 13 years old she was treating me for a medication I once took that related to my chronic inflammatory eye condition. When taking this medication I would always feel nauseated and would not eat properly which when you think about it is bad for anyone especially for a 13 year old girl that's still growing! That being said I remember I would miss doses of this medication and tell Dr. Majilessi how I would feel nauseated instead of telling me my other options she would basically not listen to anything I would say she would call my mother and tell her that I will go blind and not be able to drive or do anything on my own that alone scared my mother who was not a nurse at the time but is a nurse now. Long story short I had to tell my primary doctor at Jules Stein who actually listened to me something she should have done. I write this review now because I am currently a nursing student that is 21 and independent as I'm learning about what is ethical and… what is unethical I thought of Dr. Majlessi. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone's child.
