Azmaira H. Maker, local Psychologist in town, advertises to be knowledgeable with years of experience and have a good following, yet that appears to not be the outcome with others, including us. Damaging and pathetic.

Nothing good to report about this Mental Health Therapist. Family suffered misjudgements on her part and it's disappointing. We are dismayed to say the least. We will not recommend Dr. Maker to anyone. She set us back years and who knows if we'll ever recover. Stress & angst between family members. Azmaira Hamid Maker, Founder of Aspiring Families Mental Health is someone I would never allow my family members to be around.

Absolutely not recommended! I would not trust any advice from Azmaira Hamid Maker, PhD. Azmaira Hamid Maker, PhD’s business website has obviously been refreshed with all positive reviews. Keep in mind that reviews are created and posted by the business owner. Anyone can post anything they wish on their own website. (We’re questioning if the posting reviewers even exist.). We have seen negative ones in the past and one family in particular, stated they were much worse off than before they began. That one and similar reviews, certainly hit home! This is not the therapist that I would send my family to, particularly where children and youth are involved. We were given some damaging advice based on incorrect information told to Azmaira Hamid Maker, PhD, that was PROVEN to be incorrect. This created confusion and negatively affected the children, unnecessarily.. The steps that Azmaira Hamid Maker, PhD recommended to our family based on one-side of a story, without asking others… involved what their take was, has now negatively affected and caused damage to our family dynamic. It’s going to take time to repair and forgive another family member who (now, regretfully) insisted on taking Azmaira Hamid Maker, PhD’s advice at that time. It’s been a stressful start to the New Year for our family and without giving more details in order to protect the minors involved, we really needed to share this as it’s that important. Children are so innocent. We are sorry to be posting a negative review on the Internet, however, we could not live with ourselves if we didn’t share our experience, in hopes that this will never happen again.
