Worst doctor ever. My doctors recommended me stimulator for my neck pain , doctor Lami denied it . Recently I was seen by sr Lami and I asked him why he denied my stimulator he told me it won’t work and it’s like a man skull without a hair which he can live without it ( very stupid example ) . I still suffer from pinched nerve pain and other complications especially when at work and recently he denied me intermittent FMLA for work. I will report this docket to the bored of medicine for discriminate based on race and ethnicity

I saw him for a second opinion and stayed with him. He is a miracle worker! My other surgeon had recommended a very extensive surgery. Dr. Lami offered me more options. He did my minimally invasive surgery and I went home a few hours later. No more sciatic pain. He has a great team. I highly recommend him to everyone. If you are told you need surgery, you must him for another opinion.

Was told by nurse he knew about si joint problems - went to see him for problem walking after si joint fusion surgery - looked at my X-rays, etc said all looked good with that - his diagnosis was to “walk, walk, walk” - very disappointing

Insurance company made an appointment for his opinion (IME report) in crystal lake office, he more acted like an insurance company attorney than an independent doctor. He more interested to know how it happened and why I am not working than my symptoms. only looked like a 2 seconds at MRI and asked me to bent my body and press his hand. Although I have 2 other specialists opinion for doing injection to lower the pain but this Independent (????) guy thinks nothing is wrong with me and numbness or pain all the way to toes is due to age (I am 44) and not fall. I wish I went there before sending by insurance company and with my own insurance card, coz I am sure it would be a different experience and opinion. Just stay away from him, he is not trustworthy and cares only for insurance company.

I saw him for a second opinion- he was very informative and discussed all the pros and cons of each treatment- If you were told you need surgery, you must see Dr. Lami at least for a second opinion to get a better understanding of your problem- he will help you to make a better decision.

I highly recommend Dr. Lami if you have neck or back problems- he is a very conservative surgeon and will go over all your options

Dr Lami did my arthroscopic surgery. I went home the same day with a small band-aid on my back- He got rid of my sciatic pain. I was very satisfied with Dr. Lami and his office staff. He has excellent surgical skills and he is not a very aggressive surgeon. He explained my conditions in very simple words.

Dr Lami performed my laser type surgery- he has the best hands. I cannot be happier with the results. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family members
