I’m a very patient person, but the wait times are insane. Hours upon hours in the waiting room…then at least an hour waiting in the exam room with your pants off. If she has to meet with you after the visit to discuss test results, youve just added at least a few more hours of waiting to your visit. I’ve stuck it out with this doctor because even though everything in the office is disorganized, I trusted her expertise. She does not return calls or emails. She will not fill out prior authorizations for medications, medications she has prescribed, mind you. She schedules you to come into the office to discuss things that could very easily be discussed over the phone. (It’s not the copay or the travel to the office I mind, it’s the waiting! I’ve fallen asleep waiting for her multiple times.). She has been “treating” me for fibroids for three years. All of a sudden on my last visit, she’s not only going to say my problems are not due to the fibroids, she had the nerve to say she never… told me the fibroids were the problem. I tried to remind her that she has said they were the cause of my issues dozens of times and that I was actually at the office getting an ultrasound to bring to a fibroid removal clinic. She refused to acknowledge she ever suggested such a thing. I was a loyal patient who spent hours of my life waiting around for her to pop in for a five minute appointment, but her statements were bonkers. I will never waste my entire day in that waiting room again. She completely lost any faith in me had in her.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. I have been going here for 35 years and it used to be a great practice and great doctor. That is not the case anymore. Between the long wait time. horrible office staff and the doctor does not return calls or give test results. At my last visit she ordered tests and I waited 5 weeks for the results after numerous calls to the office and messages that were left for Dr. Irani. I call one last time to tell them I want my results forwarded to me so I can send to my primary and a nurse reads the results off the paper. Then the next night Dr. Irani calls to give me results and tell me she will forward my records to me. Never asked why I was leaving, never apologized. Just doesn't care about her patients especially long time patients. It's a shame. She is all about the money now and has too many patients to handle.

Everything is messed up in the office.waiting time is very long.

my pregnant wife walked out of the office in literal tears. when i called the office, Dr. Irani answered yelling that this is her private phone and she is busy. The number i called was the number listed on her website. Dr. Irani continued to lie to me yelling that my wife demanded an ultrasound and blood work, which she did not and simply asked if it was too soon to do the ultrasound. Dr Irani said she can do blood work and ulrasound but must first fill out paperwork. After my wife explained that she has not decided where she wants to deliver yet, Dr. Irani told her she will not do any more procedures or blood work and asked her to leave. AVOID AT ALL COSTS The front desk staff was extremely rude as well. My wife arrived to find a full waiting room, about 6 patients and some of them had family with them in a small waiting room during a pandemic. My wife, being pregnant was concerned and asked the front desk staff if she can wait outside, and was met with rude response and… remarks saying you can go wherever you want but you must be here when its your turn.

I went to Dr. Itami for several years and endured the insane waiting times, the being forgotten in the treatment room, the rude staff, the 30 seconds of talk time after waiting 3 hours... why I did it? I have no clue. But I walked out and never went back when I was 5 months pregnant. Why? Because for the 4th time, during my pregnancy, they lost my chart. On my last visit they brought in someone else’s chart, and the doctor didn’t even realize it, and starts talking to me about grave concerns about my pregnancy...AND IT WASN’T MY CHART!!! I honestly don’t know why anyone still goes there. I was chucking at the review saying there aren’t enough OB-GYNs in the area. For real? We’re not in rural America, there are hundreds in Bergen County alone. To suggest a healthy woman needs no time with their doctor? Everyone deserves time with their doctor, that’s why you’re there and what you’re paying for. I’ve seen 3 other OB-GYNs since Irani (the one who ended up delivering my baby moved and one… other was no longer on my insurance plan). Each was far superior in every way, and they even had people who were competent and polite working for them! If you’re into suffering and poor treatment, stay on... but there is so much better out there.

I have been going to Dr. Irani for 10+years now and I love her. She is an excellent doctor and is so sweet.

No stars for this Doctor. Not once have I gone to this office and had a good experience. After several years of going to this doctor I kept giving her and her office staff a chance telling myself next time it will be better and with every visit my experience has just gotten worse. The staff is rude, inexperienced and incompetent. The doctor is inconsiderate and borderline antisocial. It has happened several times when I was left naked and cold in the examination room for an hour or more while the Dr. and staff go about their day and forgot about me in there.

If I could give Dr. Irani and her office staff 0 stars I would, but that was not an option. I made my appointment for a 2nd opinion due to a complex cystic mass on my right ovary. I've had issues before where I've required emergency surgery and wanted a second opinion. After waiting an hour in the waiting room when I was the first appointment of the day, the front desk staff yells across the waiting room to me to ask what my issue is... Are you kidding me?? HIPAA! (Not to mention, it took the office staff 40 minutes to scan my insurance card & photo ID), I was brought back into the consultation room. After another 10 minutes of waiting, I was told I couldn't be seen today because she was unaware that I was there for a 2nd opinion and that she didn't have time because she was running behind and I would have to reschedule. I was very frustrated and showed the nurse my ultrasound report. The nurse then came back and said that Dr. Irani doesn't deal with complex ovarian cystic structures… even though it's listed under her services/specialty areas on her webpage. The nurse then gave me a referral for a gynecological oncologist and a uretogynecological specialist. I was not allowed to even have 1 word with the doctor herself. What a nightmare! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Dr. Irani is a friendly, physician, excellent bed side manners. Knowledgeable, easy to talk with and willing to answer all your questions. The staff have excellent customer service skills, they were very calming throughout the entire experience.

Wait was 2 hours. Everyone really rude. No ease of appointment schedule. Dr. Irani seems so LOST. and overall experience was horrible. Please read other reviews. They all have same warnings as I do. I should have read reviews prior to coming here.. Dont go here. Saving all of you.
