Dr. Balminder Singh Mangat, MD

Only gave a 3 week notice of cancellation. Shows how much he truly cares for his patients that he would drop me right before my appointment with no refills. It is harder to get another Psychiatrist appointment that takes medicaid. I have been with with him for over 8 years and he just drops me.

this experience was not good took two weeks before I could talk with someone in the office Communication with staff not good originally referral was received when time came to make appointment did not have referral insistent that I give credit card number did not want to until I had an appointment upon receipt of second referral Dr M was not taking new patients I can’t help but think it ended this way because I voice my opinion in reference to 1st referral being sent but could not be found by office management

I have seen other psychiatrists since he diagnosed me correctly years ago and with all of my experience with doctors, I would choose him in a nanosecond as my Psychiatrist. Trust cannot be bought but you can trust this physician

Never have I been so unhappy with a physician and his staff.

Pitiful help/you really need to hire a whole new crew, including the doctor. He's very harsh

I have seen Dr. Mangat since I was 13 years old. I'm now 38 and he is still my doctor. He has saved my life more than once. Dr. Mangat is the most compassionate doctor that i've ever met. He knows what he's doing and has devoted his life to the practice of psychiatry. To the people that have written abusive reviews, do you ever stop to think of the other people that Dr. Mangat sees. The wait time can be long, but it could actually be the difference between life and death. He sees numerous people on a daily basis and listens to all the ugly aspects of our lives and tries to rectify these issues for his patients. To post frivolous reviews of a doctor who spends his life helping people is rude and disrespectful. I challenge all of you to find a psychiatrist that has the knowledge and a heart as big as Dr. Mangat. You will find no one in comparison.

Dr. Mangat comes across as being very caring at first. He does spend as much time as needed on yr first visit. He also plays mind games. The medicine was on had side effects . I asked him about them. I was told there was nothing in the med that would cause that side effect only to look it up on line & find it was the main side effect. Another time I was told the office would call me back. They didn't . I called back 3 times. I was promised a call back that day. At 9:15 pm I called again & spoke with Mangat. He told me he was on his 16th hour of work that day and basically said how dare you call me. Many episodes like this happened regularly. A good psychiatrist is very hard to find this city.

The girls behind the desk were incredibly rude to two of us waiting. The doctor seemed very disturbed about something. Wait time 1 hour, appointment time 7 minutes.

Very rude staff. Doesn't want to be disturbed, but they were just sitting there reading a magazine. Dr. is over the top... very rude and grunts at your questions. Run, don't walk!!
