Very understandig and outgoing helped us and still does after being with the conventional system that disappointed us she was big help.

Dr. Barbara Bartlett is extremely professional, punctual, and empathetic to all of my needs. She is also an active listener who I feel heard by. Unlike other doctors in the past, she is very conscientious of what she prescribed to me based on my needs and my blood work results. Everything is done with care and precision. Aside from what is being prescribed, the vitamins that she has suggested and I have purchased have transformed my day-to-day and my mental well-being

I found Dr. Barbara D. Bartlik on New York Magazine on Top Doctor Section. I visited on her website and found out about Phosphatidylserine, and started taking it. It made me think positively, and felt so differently. I talked with her on the phone, she was very kind and pleasant person. I would love to make an appointment with her but my insurance does not cover 1%. I love the fact that she shared her knowledge on her website and she said she was very happy that her posting could help me.

Sorry to have wasted a great deal of money and time with this person. Feel she really could not care less.

So many positive things to say sbout Dr. Bartlik. For me, the most important thing with a psychiatrist is their innate characteristic traits. Why this is important to me and I’m sure others would agree with me that you want your psychiatrist to be warm, empathetic, non-judgmental, not in a rush to hand you over prescriptions and get you out the door... to name a few. A psychiatrist whom you can trust and be completely open to while feeling safe, relaxed, understood, listened to, sympathized with, etc. is everything to me. It was obvious from my first visit that she deeply cares and was born to be a healer. I’ve been to many psychiatrists and have had horrible experiences that I almost gave up looking. I think it’s a miracle that the last doctor I told Myself I would try was “the one” for me. I had several psychiatric issues and a brain injury and I’m also in the medical field.. she not only is sharp as a tack but she listens, asks important questions, and made me feel so comfortable… like I was talking to a friend. I can’t say enough good things about her. Don’t hesitate in your decision. Just Go! She’s not on my insurance but your health and well-being (especially mental health) has no price tag and she gives me receipts to submit to my insurance - sometimes they work.. honestly if you’re strapped for moneybags she’s not on your ensurance I would highly encourage you to go to her for one visit. She helped me out with price because she is a born-healer and cares more about helping people than the money and I trulg Believe that...you won’t regret it. One visit and you will understand everything I’ve said here. I am back to my happy, healthy, balanced self that I thought I could Never get back (due to a history of poor psychiatrists and mis-diagnoses and medicine that messed me up). I am so grateful she got me back on track. I feel like the very best version of myself everyday now. Re-read that last sentence. Now ask yourself, is that something you can put a price tag on?

She is brilliant concerned and devoted to patient care

Dr Bartlik is a true competent and caring professional. She is always looking for different ways to help you reach your goals and does not give up on you !!

I've seen Dr. Bartlik for a number of years. She has been a great source of support and compassion. She really listens and I feel comfortable with her. I never feel like she's rushing me. I wish other doctors were more like her.

Dr. Bartlik is an incredible doctor who is committed to finding treatments that work for her patients. She listens extremely well, and I was please that she helped me consider holistic, natural solutions for my condition as well as pharmaceutical ones.

Watchout, she over medicates. She has a blindspot for the role feelings play in a person's life. She is brighf & has a good heart.
