I took my 6 year old son to see this physician for the first time due to insurance change. I wanted my son to get a referral to see a Neurologists for his frequent headaches accompanied with vomiting. She briefly addressed the headaches but then called DCFS on me due to a scratch on my sons chest. She insinuated that I was abusive towards him. I am appalled because As a healthcare worker this is something that can affect my job. I felt racially profiled. The questions that she was asking me about my husband and I were offensive. Who asks if we are behind on our light bill? I feel like if you are of african decent she will automatically profile you as a bad parent. I was humiliated in front of the office by having the social worker come in to speak with me. I am nowhere near a bad parent and I will NEVER recommend this sorry excuse for a doctor to any minorities. SHE IS NOT THE TO HELP. She is there to profile and judge with BAD judgement.

I would not suggest you taking your baby to a facility where she is. She has been a pediatrician for 30+ years and not sure how to evaluate the parenting of a mother and child. She suffered the knowledge of a emergency doctor to over look her decision on if neglect or abuse is a factor all because I am black and young. With no paper trail, no history of mental illness or abuse she is insinuating that I abuse and or abused my 4 month old baby. I am an employee with the federal government and have been for 10+ yrs and have an bachelors in criminal justice and to be looked at as if I abuse or allow abuse is humiliating.
