Barbara A. Bumberry

This lady made my mom go to an ER after going through chemo because she didn't want to prescribe her pain medicine. After arriving at hospital full of sick people we were finally seen by an actual doctor. She was fantastic and couldn't believe how little Bumberry was doing to keep my moms pain under control. I would not refer this lady to anyone. Luckily we got referrals and a doctor who actually cares about her patient Today.

I went to her over a year ago because I was having pain and swelling in my armpit/shoulder area and had been experiencing these symptoms for more than a year. when I was telling her about my symptoms she kept giving me this look like she didn't believe me. Finally she examined my sweaty armpit with her bare hands and told me to come back when it was actively hurting, lol. She said I was due for a mammogram and that I would get a referral call...I never did. I left her office feeling stupid and like nothing serious was wrong. Fast forward to today, I just finally got a mammogram and they found something in that very area! I have to go back in for more testing and I am ANGRY that she didn't do her job and that it might have cost me everything. I will not let her get away with this, believe that. She is incompetent and rude and I fully plan on filing with the AMA. My advice...Find a better doctor.

She gives Weight loss pills to anyone that asks, got my ex wife hooked on Phentermine! And she’s still 80lbs overweight and caused us to get a divorce because of mood swings! Also canceled me as a patient because i complained about her treatment of my wife!

Been going to her for 10+ years for my PCP. Would never change unless she moves because she is the one I trust the most out of all Mercy Dr's! her PCP and RN are very nice and respond quick to messages also.

Dr. Barbara Bumberry is the best primary care physician I ever had. She should be the role model and inspiration to all future and currently-practicing primary care physicians.

A real nice lady with a real nice staff.

Dr Bumberry is an excellent Doctor, Jessica is great, but nursing staff lacks considerably. Wait times are way too long, usually 30 min to an hour 1/2 or longer. I can have an appointment at 3:30, and usually get called back at 4, then sit there for at least 30 to 45 minutes. This is not a one time visit, this happens 3 out of 4 visits.
