Dr. Barbara Catherine Deli, MD

Dr. Deli has been a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2002, and is also an assistant clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Since early 2004, Dr. Deli has been director of the Obstetric and Gynecology Department's Medical Student Education Program, which she manages in collaboration with the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is also an assistant clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia P&S.
While at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Dr. Deli founded and chaired the university's chapter of Medical Students for Choice; chaired Penn Med-Mantua Hall Health Connection, a health education program for residents of public housing; and volunteered with the Teen Mom Mentoring Program. During residency training, she was recognized as junior-level teaching resident of the year, …served on the hospital's house staff committee, and was administrative chief resident in 2001-2002. She is a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
