The staff and doctors are the best I've ever had for my children.

Receptionist is rude and uncaring. Disputed billing as they charged over 300 In the hospital when I never asked their staff to check on my healthy baby. Billing said "visit less than 30 minutes" and this charge was over 180 dollars. All they care about is money. Facility was dirty and insanitary. Nurse was observed picking her butt and not washing hands. Last straw was when they said they would not treat my son after disputed charges. Even after paying them thousands they would not work with me. Also went in for a diagnosis on a rash got the following response "I don't know what it is". Gee thanks and another 100 dollar charge for that? Terrible customer service and doctor has never once introduced themselves. Shady practice.

By far the worst place. Ive called for several weeks now to get a referral for my son to see a speech therapy. Haven't received one call. I explained my situation to the operator and it's like they didn't even care. I'm moving my kids to a different doctor.

This is hands down the worst practice I've ever been to. We had to choose a pediatrician before they would allow us to leave the hospital but unfortunately, all of our top choices were not taking new patients at the time so we had to settle for Gablehouse. Bottom line: this sub par practice that wants your money and could care less about the well being of your child. For the first year of my daughter's life, she never saw the doctor, it was all PA's. Dr Gablehouse made absolutely zero effort to introduce herself to our family. Additionally, the front desk staff is rude and absolutely uncaring. They don't know your child from Adam and don't care to learn. It's pretty obvious that this practice cares more about money than care because of the sub par people that are employed here on what seems to be a revolving door basis. What makes this place the worst though, is their absolute unwillingness to care for patients after hours. Just a few weeks ago, our daughter had a fairly… disconcerting stomach issue and when we called the Peak emergency line, THEY NEVER CALLED US BACK! Never!!! I mean, we're talking about babies here and they are so cold, so calloused, they didn't make any effort whatsoever to return our call. What kind of a heartless monster would let a call from scared parents of sick child go unanswered? I have a lot of friends that are having kids over the past year and all I can tell them is DO NOT, under any circumstances, take your child here. It's like being treated at a DMV only with unfriendlier people. Dr Gablehouse should be ashamed of herself. It's obvious she got into medicine for the money, not to provide care and one appointment at this place will confirm that without question. The only exception is James. She is caring and gentle which makes it odd that she would choose to work in such an awful place. Again, DO NOT choose this practice if you care the least about your child's care. You might have to wait a bit but it's worth going someplace else where you can be assured that your child's care comes first. I probably would have walked away and kept my mouth shut but after a year of being treated like a faceless number and them not returning our emergency phone call, I could not. Shame on Dr Gablehouse and shame on Peak Pediatrics. Primary examples of money over care. Beware and be warned.

I have been with the practice for over a year and the only reason I'm still there I have not been able to find a doctor in my area that is excepting our insurance right now.The appointment people are rude. Plus, I have had them not schedule appointments after I call and schedule. One time it was after my child got out of the hospital and was to be see before 24 hours was up. I was scheduled at 8:30 am and di to weather and a wreck i called and to let them know we where late. Thye said I did not have an appointment. I was upset. I asked if I could just bring him due to his illness. They told me no that I could come in at 2. We ended up back in the hospital. I did call the office manager but it took her a month to get back to me. She it was do to the roof leaking.There are a few nice nurces but other than that they suck.

God no lets not test your child for the thing your concerned about. Why test him! Lets give him drugs and see how that works. Why go trew expenxive testing. just dope the kid up, grat sulution! Really, this place is not fit for a dog! Dr. Magic pill Barbra Gablehouse! A lot has changes in medicine in 20 years maybe you should look into that!

I love Dr. Gablehouse and all the staff at Peak, Winter Park. I started taking my daughter there when she was 2 days old and received expert advice and service ever since. It is important to me to have a dr and nurses that know the health issues in the county and how they affect my child.

We were with Dr. Gablehouse for a long time. I put up with disrespectful behavior from her and her staff because I thought she knew what she was talking about. I was wrong and I am looking for a new doctor.

I am scared to ever take my child back.
