Dr. Barbara Gibson Hundley, MD

Dr was very rude and did not care about me as a patient. I have never had any drugs before and she just kept throwing them at me and then dropped me as a patient. I do not know what I am going to do. Her bedside matter sucks.

First visit to a psychiatrist for me, at first she presented as understanding and friendly. but when I had adverse side effects to the medication prescribed (racing heart rate, awake for 48 hours, couldn't walk 2 blocks without stopping to catch my breath) she grew less friendly, did not want to listen. Office staff were honest, but not friendly, double booked me with the MD and then didn't believe me. Look for someone else!!

There's a reason why it's easy to get an appointment with Dr. B. Hundley--people aren't lining up to see her. While she has lots of experience and many apt (and very long) anecdotes, she misdiagnosed me, and I spent many months taking meds that didn't help. I finally changed to another dr, was diagnosed correctly, and got better dosing. I'm much better but months later am still waiting to get off some of the pills she gave me that I didn't need as it's a slow process!

The doctor did not prescribe what I needed. The staff was incompetent when it comes to insurance billing. I was double billed, and had to pay when I expressly told them my insurance would pay. I finally got my money back but it wasn't easy. If you need phychiatric care, find another office. You will thank me in the long run.

Says she is a Christian counselor. Says she prays with her clients. Read Association of Christian Counselors guidelines before going in. Many judgemental attitudes in this "guideline".

Dr. Hundley is a nice lady, don't get me wrong. I came to her when struggling with PPD and every time I tried to talk to her she responded with one sentence and then went back to scribbling on her notepad. I didn't go there to get medication I went there to talk to somebody about what I was going through. She could have cared less. All she was worried about was writing me a prescription (which I still have by the way and never filled) she spent all of five minutes with me and sent me on my way without hardly talking to me at all. So imagine my surprise when I got a bill in the mail for 110 dollars. When I called the office and asked what I was being charged for since the bill said "other" and I asked what "other" was, she said it was something called medication management. I told her I didn't even want the prescription and hadn't even filled it. She then had the nerve to tell me that I was being billed for taking up "her time." So I basically had to pay 110 dollars for 5 minutes… of her time when she wrote me a prescription that I didn't want or need. I will never be going to Quality Life Group again and I hope you wont either unless you have excellent insurance that will pay the whole visit. Otherwise it will be just like you are throwing your money away like I had to.

Dr Hundley took the time to fit me into her busy schedule when I was at a very low point in my life. She took the time to talk to me about my problems and follows up with me on a regular basis. I found Dr. Hundley after feeling betrayed by my previous psychiatrist who never took the time to talk with me and would prescribe medications which made me physically ill and would not return my phone calls. Dr Hundley is helping me get my life back on track and is very professional. I highly recommend her services.
