I had been seeing Dr Lovenger for a couple of years when one day the clinic called to cancel my appointment and wouldn’t reschedule w no explanation. They provided a referral to another doctor in another clinic begrudgingly after telling me that none of their other doctors were taking new patients.

Dr. Loevinger did not meet my needs. I understand it is difficult to find a psychiatrist in private practice, and that is truly a disgrace, but my decision to stop seeing this particular doctor was justified. Excessive wait times, confusion of goals, a non-supportive attitude for the use of common quick acting anti-anxiety drugs, and general mismatched personalities contributed to this huge waste of my time and money. She also made some questionable recommendations about my other medications which I followed and am now regretting. She is a professional in an overworked and shrinking field, and it was unfortunate that she was not able to help me.
