Dr. Barbara Ann Montford, MD

I was a new patient, I sat in the office of Dr. Barbara Montford for an hour. Within that hour, I had not been given any new patient paperwork to complete and I was hearing complaints from other patients in the waiting area that they had been waiting a very long time to be seen by Dr. Montford. At least one gentleman had been there since 8:00 AM that morning. At this point it was 10:45 AM. I went to the window and rang the doorbell...no answer. A few minutes later I rang it again...no answer. After the third ring someone came to the window. I explained that I had been there for an hour and hadn't been given any new patient paper work to complete and I told her of the complaints that I had been hearing regarding the extremely long wait time. She offered to give me the new patient paper work to complete. I told her no, first I want to find out how much longer would my wait time would be. After about 7 minutes I rang the bell again (twice) she came to the window to say that… Dr. Montford was in a meeting and she would start seeing patients after the meeting was over. Really, you have a room FULL of patients and you're in a meeting. Come on now. REALLY. I told her that I was leaving, that I didn't want to reschedule and that I was reporting Dr. Montford and the office practices. Would I recommend anyone to go to Dr. Barbara Montford's office...absolutely not.

Office has white dirty chairs, ceiling ripping off disgusting environment , the lady who speak English at front desk was not aware of the appointments and list. I arrived, she didn’t even say good morning or told me to fill in paperwork. Another man arrived and she gave him paperwork. Them after 30 minutes there, I asked for it and She gave them to me. Also They pass in the man first. After 45 minutes I asked how long was the wait because 3 patients where the for an hour before me. My appointment was for 11:30. I did the appointment through Zocdoc If those 3 where before me and they were waiting since 10am how long was going to be the wait? The un profesional staff gave me a bad feeling. I took back my id and insurance card and left the office. Then at home I saw all the bad ratings this doctor has. Same about dirty chairs and environment. Her and her staff, and has not make a difference?? I will not trust my body to someone who doesn’t care about her patients opinions.

The Medical assistants are very sweet and helpful they take time with me more than the doctor does. I appreciate that I feel sorry for the people who working for her!

Waited 2.5 hours to see the doctor. Waiting room was standing room only as it was packed with other people who had been waiting as long as I. Receptionist was very slow and unprofessional. Dr. had a third year med student acting as her "nurse assistant". Med student spent an extraordinary amount of time entering my prior history (not sure if it was ever completely entered). Dr. spent about 5 minutes with me and basically did not listen to me at all. Had a sarcastic attitude. No explanation was given for tests she ordered and her receptionist couldn't even tell what they were for (prescription was unreadable) so she couldn't tell me how to arrange for the test. Incredible!. This doctor should be avoided at all costs! Office was in severe need of a cleaning and they were running one roll of examination paper that looked like it had been used from table to table. This is not what I expected from a Memorial doctor at all!

Good doctor,office staff below par,must get better

She is an awful doctor with all that years of experience I really expected a way better service she is very careless

i never seen in my live doc office more dirtty than that one that is to much the withe chairs are brown the doctor assisten office was nasty when i went there was 4 o 5 disp cup with urinate open in the desk ..... that just was to much i don't recoment no one to go there

Office staff is rude and so is the doctor. She has no empathy. I do not recommend her

I won't recommend her to my WORST enemy!!! Nasty attitude, everything but professional. My father was scheduled for a surgerical procedure she arrived 3 hours late. The surgery was done at 9:00 at night, ended around 11:00pm my father was in pain, and had massive bleeding in the urine and she didnt even show any sympathy. She sent him home at 1:00 in the morning. When the nurse called to see if he can stay the night in the hospital she never answered her phone!!!!!

His doctor is rude, zero bedside manner!!!! She scheduled an appointment for my 9 months old son for circumsion at 12 noon then showed up 2 hours late! my son had nothing to eat since the night before. When she arrived she showed no remorse or that she even cared about my son!
