Dr. Barbara Jean Strong, MD

Dr. Barbara Strong is a neurologist and psychiatrist who brings 49 years of clinical experience to her practice. She earned her medical degree from Universidad De La Salle Facultad Mexicana De Medicina and completed her residency training at LAC USC Medical Center. Her dual specialty training allows her to address both neurological conditions affecting the brain and nervous system as well as psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Strong is affiliated with the Department of State Hospitals Patton and practices in multiple locations across Southern California, including Patton, Los Angeles, Torrance, and El Monte. Her extensive background in both neurology and psychiatry positions her to treat patients with complex conditions that may involve both neurological and mental health components. She has dedicated nearly five decades to helping patients navigate the intersection of brain health and mental wellness.
