Dr. Barney Edward Dillard, MD

Dr. Dillard is the absolute best ER physician I’ve ever been seen by. He listens, advocates for his patients, and is very thorough. He saved my dad’s life years ago, the drs were just then doing a shift change and the other ER Dr discharged him, Dr Dillard just by chance walked into the room as we were leaving and when he found out he was discharged, he told us he needed to be admitted and he was ordering an MRI because his bloodwork and his behavior wasn’t quite right, and my dad was still dizzy and in visible pain. That MRI found a massive brain tumor. He brought him back into the room, explained the situation, and ordered powerful painkillers & meds for nausea/dizziness and got an oncologist in there pretty quickly and had him transported to Halifax. He may not remember because he sees so many patients but he would have been dead within a couple weeks if they didn’t cross paths. Anyone in this area that has been treated by him will tell you he’s a lifesaver.

Utterly horrible we saw him at Advent Health New Smyrna Beach tonight after my son had been hit by a car while riding his bike he looked at my son and said he's medically sound no x-ray no physical exam worst experience ever

Went to hospital thought I was dying.....Dr.Dillard calmly diagnosed gall blladder......had it removed....good as new

Worst experience at a doctor we've ever had we went because my husband was concerned about pains chest pains head pains and what we think is a blood clot in leg he didn't Adrea's any of the concerns all he did was look at his leg and say oh it's an old bruise and he would be fine and sent him home I'm soo angry I can't believe he is even allowed to be a doctor!
