Dr. Barry Harold Bikshorn, MD

I saw Dr Bikshorn yesterday when Dr Khan was unavailable. He review my prior medical records, went over my complete medication list and did a complete exam before coming to a medical diagnosis/conclusion.

I have never met a doctor who was so rude. He didn't seem to want to listen at all, and spoke in an accusatory manner. Since then, I have heard from other people who were his patients, and even a paramedic who worked with him in the ER, and they all have the same thing to say about him- even before I tell my story. Stay away.

I met with Dr. Bikshorn today and was extremely impressed with the exam. He listened to my concerns, ask questions regarding the pain and did a very complete exam. He gave me a course of treatment explaining everything very carefully and answering all my questions. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I've been seeing Dr. Bikshorn for a few years now, for chronic migraines. I'm not sure who some of those negative reviewers saw, but the Barry Bikshorn that cares for my neurological health is thorough and thoughtful. There was one incidence where he was exasperated with me (not condescending) for failing to communicate that I was having "small" headaches in addition to the massive ones. After putting me on a second medication, everything is managed, and I can live a normal life. I see him twice a year, so he can ensure everything is ok, the dosages are still right, etc. Office staff has always been great, too. I would recommend him, and the practice, without hesitation.

Dont recommend him. Husband went in there for 24/7 headaches. He didn't look at the MRI/CT Scan disk, just read off the referring drs notes that he had clusters on the brain. He said they were nothing to worry about, nothing that would be causing the headaches. Said he didn't know what the cause was & gave him a pill to take & see if it helps. This was an anti-seizure medicine which had several side effects. Got 2nd opinion & that neurologist did more blood work & MRA & showed us the disk w/her.

After reading the reviews on this website about Bikshorn, I don't need to add another comment. The poor reviews are enough for everyone to see and go somewhere else.

Very condescending. Speaks down to the patient. Takes no interest in one's questions. I do not recommend this doctor.

He made me feel like I was just wasting his time. His manner was very curt. His attitude was so superior. It made me wonder if I could tie my own shoes on the way out!!!!

If you are looking for a doctor who will make you feel rushed, who won't listen to what you're trying to say, and will make you cry... then Dr. Bikshorn is the doctor for you...

Degrading, rude, and absolutely the worst doctor ive ever seen!
