Dr. Barry Huppert, MD

I was finished in the emergency room when my doctor set up a follow-up appointment for the next day because he felt my case was urgent. I went to his office and the receptionist informed me that I should have called first and she couldn;t fit me in until the afternoon. I stated that i had business in the area and decided to come to the office and wait in case someone cancelled. She acused me of making excuses and i am quite verbal and informed her that i didn't need to make excuses. Moments later she asked for a referral and i told her that I didn;t have one. She said I couldn't seethe doctor without it. I sat down to wait for my primary care doctor to fax the referral. I heard a nasty tone comment stating, She's still here. My doctors stated that he could send the referral through email. I asked for the email address and the receptionist stated that she couldn't give it to me. Maybe Dr. Huppert is an excellent doctor but his receptionist is a wicked woman. Could it be… because I am a black woman, i don't know but it certainly felt like it was.

Treated Aunt Connie and now treats Esther and Anthony for many years and he is a caring professional who listens to you and DOES NOT RUSH you out. He is a pleasure to go to and the wait is short....The girls at the desk are both very competent and friendly.

Dr Huppert takes care of my wife Carol and I think he is the top in his field. My wife trusts nobody except for dr Huppert. He gives Mt sinai their excellent reputation. Top of the line

Dr. Huppert's office has the nicest receptionists and nurses. The doctor is extremely patient and takes all the time you need. He doesn't rush you. The doctor explains the pts diagnosis in great detail, easy to understand English.

I was brought to BIMC Kings Hwy in poor shape. Dr. Huppert literally saved my life. He is smart, compassionate & caring. I rarely wait more then a few minutes in the office. He spends time with me & answers questions. The office staff is great & very friendly. Dr. Huppert is a doctor in the "old fashioned" mold- his first concern is his patients, not the 'billing'.
