Dr. Barry Isaac Resnik, MD

I had been diagnosed with HS and sought out Dr. Resnik because he is knowledgeable on my condition. As a physician, he is great. He is knowledgeable but his office staff has left a horrible taste in my mouth. I advised to office assistant that I am currently on SSDI and live under a very tight fixed income. Per Dr. Resnik himself, "HS is a debilitating illness and can impact a persons life tremendously." The pain is constant and unforgiving. I reached out to office assistant requesting a prescription for pain medicine to get me through my flare up. I was informed that I had a deductible payment for $46 and I can not receive any medications until it was paid. I live on fixed income and was unable to make payment at that time. I attempted to set payment arrangement for end of month once I receive my ONCE a MONTH SSDI payment but was denied and told I will have to suffer through the pain until I am able to make a payment. $46 is more important than the well being of his patient. SMDH

His medical license should be stripped. He performed a procedure on me that goes against standard care and all documented research. He gaslighted all of my symptoms which made me delay intervention. I'm trying to reverse the procedure but will likely be left with permanent damage. Horrible human being. Stay far away!

he’s a very rude person in general but i’ve never had such a horrible and atrocious experience at the doctor. i flew all the way to Miami with my father for this guy. what a joke that was! let me help you save your time and money everyone. also he treats younger patients with such disrespect, never ever will i recommend anyone to see him for help!

I had a small lipoma removed by Dr. Resnik and it took all of 5 minutes. His bedside manner is awesome. He is very friendly and funny and has great hands. His suture technique is on point and my wound healed with the thinness of scars. I will send all my friends and family to him.

The office was extremely sloppy and neglectful when it came to my insurance benefits. I told them several weeks in advance I was switching insurance so they should be sure to get the medication I needed approved and authorized right away. I called nearly every other day and they assured me they were on top of it. They actually did not attend to it until several days before my insurance terminated and then entered the wrong information and made me lose all benefits. They were not apologetic and offered no compensation for the medication (which they keep in the practice) - it would have been nice for them to give me a discount due to their obvious error. Had I gone to another dermatologist I am certain the information would have been entered correctly the first time and I would have received my benefits. On top of that, I probably should have been offered to have my large copay returned back to me since they were not able to fulfill my appointment. If you are looking for a good,… responsible, professional office, steer clear of this one.

Very satisfied with my laser hair removal and facial treatment by Lina Perez. The entire staff was friendly, patient and very efficient. I always feel very comfortable, the office is always very clean and well appointed. I can tell you that I would not hesitate to return and refer anyone to Dr. Resnik's office for treatment due to his personal caring manner, knowledge and medical skills.
