Dr. Conard cared for my mother for over ten years. Dr. Conard performed a hip replacement on my mother after another doctor and a nursing home had failed to diagnose her broken hip. Dr. Conard promptly diagnosed my mother and even ordered specific hip replacements for her specific break and medical condition. He was extremely kind to my mother and followed up to make sure she received good nursing home care. Prior to her hip fracture, she had multiple small fractures to the spine due to osteoporosis. These fractures were not repairable by surgery, and my mother got a second opinion to confirm that. Dr. Conard gave her medicine that repaired the fractures, and she was able to get out of bed after a month of being bed-bound and was able to return to her activities. About the wait time, I didn't mind waiting with my mother because I knew she would get the same attention others were receiving. Also, he would post a notice as to how long the wait time was so that patients could go get… coffee or run an errand and make good use of the time and then return for the visit. Dr. Conard is an excellent doctor with outstanding credentials, and I believe he should have 4 stars.
