Dr. Basem M Jassin, MD

My wife forced me to come because of snoring. Dr. Jassin was very thorough and I was evaluated for sleep apnea, which I did not have. He told me that there was a lot of blockage in my nose and sinuses which was making me breathe through my mouth at night. I had an office procedure which helped to open my nose and helped with the snoring. It was not as scary as I thought it would be.

Very glad I came to see Dr. Jassin. My friend advised me to go after I was constantly complaining of a stuffy nose and itchy eyes. I have been taking allergy medicines for years, so I thought I was already doing everything to treat this. I was wrong. Dr. Jassin did allergy testing and I started allergy shots and it has been an amazing experience. I feel much better. I wish I had gone sooner.

Wonderful doctor and staff. I had been having voice problems for over 6 months and had seen another ENT doctor who told me I had acid reflux and did not want to see me again for another 6 months. I decided to go see Dr. Jassin instead. He looked in my throat with a light and told me I had a movement problem with one of my vocal cords. He then referred me to another doctor that treats singers. I can’t recommend this office enough.

I got up and saw the whole room was spinning. I went to my doctor and she gave me Meclezine but it did not help. She then made an appointment for me with Dr. Jassin. His office staff was wonderful and the doctor rotated my head in a certain way that helped get rid of the dizziness. I am now going to take my elderly mother to go see him.

I slowly lost hearing on my right ear. My doctor gave me two courses of antibiotics and allergy medicines but it just got worse. I went to see Dr. Jassin and he made an incision in my ear and removed the fluid and I could hear. I was very impressed and the office staff were very polite.

I have had pain on my forehead and pressure for several years. My family doctor kept insisting it was migraines. A friend recommended I go see Dr. Jassin. He looked in my nose with a camera and saw that my sinuses were blocked. I never had any nose blockage so I didn’t think I had sinus problems. He was able to open the sinuses in the office using a sinus balloon and it made a huge difference. I can even breathe better now. I have told another friend who is always complaining of sinus problems to go see him.

I was having nose bleeds and went to see Dr. Jassin. He looked in my nose and told me I likely had allergies and also saw a place that was causing the bleeding he used a long matchstick to heal it. Great doctor and great office.

I would leave no stars if I could. I am disgusted with the way this "Doctor" treated my boyfriend. He went into see him after weeks of feeling dizzy and unwell. He ruled out several other issues before his GP came to the conclusion it could be an ear problem. We waited two weeks to get in to this doctor only for him to refuse to check and diagnose the problem. He gave him nose spray and told him to see another doctor as he wont be in the office for a month starting next week so he can not follow up with anything. Two weeks waited, to be told to go elsewhere. He gladly accepted payment for this though. We will be filing complaints to any one we can. This is NOT what doctors do. Doctors are supposed to help patients. Now we (his parents and I) have to watch him suffer, unable to work, until we can get into another ENT. I hope that no one ever has to go through this feeling of helplessness.

The doctor really focused on my problem and he was able to do a procedure in the office which helped me tremendously with my nasal breathing.

I had struggled with both sinus and allergy problems for years until I visited Dr. Jassin. I had the balloon procedure to resolve my sinus issues. I took a regiment of allergy shots, and both problems are gone!! He and his staff are the best.
