Dr. Basil Stewart Hubbi, MD

I recently learned that he is leaving University Hospital. It is a huge loss. He is such a bright doctor and a true angel.

A real compassionate doctor who treats me like a person. It’s surprising how rare it is to encounter doctors like him these days.

Kind and professional. Dr. Hubbi communicates clearly and helped me understand. He called me to follow-up after seeing me and I thought that he really goes the extra mile.

Going into my appointment very scared because i was called back for additional imaging. The new staff was wonderful, they were able to speak to me in a language that made me feel more comfortable, spanish. Then the doctor walked me through all the steps. The new staff reassured me. I love the service!

I have been to UMDMJ a few times and have mixed reviews until now. I saw Dr Hubbi last week and was very impressed by his knowledge and bedside manner. Even though the office was very busy, Dr Hubbi took his time with me and answered all my questions no matter how silly or small with professionalism and humility. I highly recommend Dr Hubbi. He is worth the trip to Newark!

I was very nervous about getting this test done and Dr Hubbi made me feel very comfortable. He took the time to explain to me everything I needed to know to put me at ease and he was very professional and efficient during my appointment.
