If you read nothing else in the review, read this: Dr. Basil Schaheen and this practice are amazing. Details: I had my first consultation with Dr. Schaheen almost a year ago. As a 5 foot, 230 lb woman, I was so scared to go into a plastic surgery office. I had a lot of fears about being laughed at, not being taken seriously, etc. This office and amazing doctor never once made me feel that way. First, I saw Dr. Schaheen due to continued issues with lower belly fat. He made me feel welcome and explained how the surgical procedure would go. I had multiple reassurances throughout the process and when I had questions, they were listened to and answered thoroughly. He never rushed his way through an appointment and answered my many questions to make me feel comfortable with MY decisions. He was also realistic about what I should expect post-op for healing. He is the best doctor I’ve ever asked for! From getting my first appointment to booking surgeries (yes, I went back for more) to… booking follow ups, the scheduling staff is so friendly. At each appointment, they always made me feel welcome and took their time to go over any of my concerns or questions. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Schaheen to anyone! Even if you’re just curious about what your options might be, he makes sure to lay everything out in easy to understand language with no judgment.
