Dr. Preston Leigh Imhof, DO

Completely unprofessional. I was not notified about certain office policies and arrived well ahead of time for my appointment. In order to comply with new, previously not notified about policies, I made arrangements to resolve the matter before my appointment time since I arrived early. I now messed up a third party's schedule to comply, but rather than let me have my appointment, Dr. Imhof made me reschedule (again, even though I would have been on time for my appointment). I was the last appointment for the day so he could have waited a bit longer regardless of the timing (he was NOT honoring the 15 minute grace period). Instead, as I was rescheduling, I saw him leave early! So rather than see me, on time, he wanted to go home early. I made sure to reschedule with another doctor. If he doesn't respect my time when I was trying to respect his, I cannot imagine he'd respect my concerns or my well-being.

Not only did his office reschedule my appointment last minute, so I showed up and had to wait around for 4 hours to be seen, but then Dr. Imhof barely spent 2 minutes finding out why I was there, did a cursory check of my throat, and then was pretty dismissive of my concerns. He talked to me like I was a child and I left feeling that I had wasted my entire day off trying to see him for a concern that I was so worried about that I had rushed to see a specialist. I would NOT recommend people go to see Dr Imhof. Try a different ENT.

Preston L. Imhof is not only an excellent physician, he is a good person, much like the doctors I grew up with in a small rural town in North Carolina. Awhile back, I brought it to his attention that a staff member had been rude and "less than cordial" and he immediately asked me to address the situation with his office manager. Not only does he know how to care for his patents, he does it with sincerity, in addition to listening attentively and addressing concerns. I am thankful he was recommended by my PCP. Good job!

Excellent at making a connection with the patient and making sure that all your choices are informed and in your best interests. Has a particular talent for making complicated ENT concepts easily understandable

I saw him and I was very disappointed because he didn't do a thorough exam. His staff at front was rude and wouldn't give eye contact. They did not update or ask me my medical history when I hadn't been to any doc at DeKalb Medical in years.

Dr Imhoff is a very caring and competent doctor. He takes the time to do a thorough exam and explains his findings.
