I've never had a doctor be so interested in me and my physical, emotional and spiritual health. Dr. Basima Williams is one-of-a-kind and takes her "oath" to the ninth level. I am blessed to have such a kind and compassionate doctor to care for me and direct me in my health challenges.

She is very professional and knowledgeable. I love the fact that that she explains everything about the condition of the illness and the steps that should be taken. She follows up very promptly. She truly has a very special gift.

Dr. Williams is an excellent physician. She is conscientious, caring, thorough and personable. She speaks in terms you can understand. She is honest, yet gentle when needed but can also be tough and blunt when required. An earlier reviewer was upset about her suggestion to join The Biggest Loser - I personally feel it is an honest suggestion from someone who understands the difficulty in losing weight and maintaining the weight loss and who also sees day after day the ultimate deadly results of obesity. I, too, have had some tough conversations with Dr. Williams regarding my weight and I know that she would suggest nothing to harm me in any way but only makes suggestions that she feels are useful and productive to my overall health. I personally appreciate her concern for my health and recognize her frustration with me in not losing the weight that I should that ultimately would provide me with a better quality of life. Dr. Williams also treats my daughter who is 19 months old. … She is excellent with children! She is willing to listen to my concerns. She doesn't over diagnose or over medicate. She is conscious of my concerns over vaccinations and works with me in administering the vaccinations in a way that I am comfortable with. I highly recommend Dr. Williams to anyone looking for a PCP.

I wish I could take Dr. Williams with me throughout my travels. I am currently a student in California is and still see Dr. Williams every trip home. She is brilliant, nice, and the best doctor I have ever encountered.

I have to say that I have truly tried to keep an open mind with Dr. Williams as she has been recommended by family members however yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back. She had the sheer Gaul to inform my husband, who is admittedly overweight that he should sign up for the "Biggest Loser" show. How unprofessional and patently wrong headed can you be??? That show is nothing more than a freak show that makes people feel bad about themselves and has been proven to be of little value and sometimes even detrimental to the health of the "contestants". I thought that adults in a medical setting especially were supposed to give sound and practical advice - not be snake oil salesman. Sorry Dr. Williams but that was one of the most absurd recommendations I have ever heard and I am glad my husband did not participate in that charade because if he did so and was in any way shape or form injured in so doing you would have had a malpractice case on your hands that would have… bankrupted your practice and made you all but uninsurable with malpractice insurance firms.
