Dr. Rizk and his team really made me feel comfortable with the surgery. All questions were answered and I’m very appreciative that I found Dr. Rizk.

I don't know where or why there were many positive comments here. Accepting the fact that he was accepting new patients was the only reason this carrier chose him. The LAST MINUTE instructions by phone (by a front desk worker) for an upcoming procedure made no medical sense (a person with a colostomy bag was instructed to use an enema to clear out her system before an upcoming colonoscopy without using any drugs to empty the bowels). And, after one 5 minute visit to see about a colostomy reversal was quickly written up to be not only a colonoscopy but a surgery the day after. And all that set in motion before he ever even saw one medical record of the patient. Take your business elsewhere. Maybe a non-Memorial Hospital surgeon.

Dr. Rizk was my Surgeon and he did a outstanding job on my Colectomy in which I did not have to get a colostomy bag. Everything went exceptionally well and the office staff Ms. Elaine and Ms. Theresa made the process so easy and they were very compassionate and Dr. Rizk and his staff heard my concerns and took great care of me. I would recommend First Coast Surgical Associates to anymore that needs Colon & Rectal Surgery. I am 100% satisfied with my procedure because I went from NOT being able to have a bowel movement for 4 months to actually having a bowel movement 3-4 times a day at ease. No bloating, no stomach cramps, no constipation, no headaches, no nausea or vomiting whereas I had been dealing with this issue for the last 16 years. Dr. Rizk, Ms. Theresa & Ms. Elaine are God sent to help people like me. I Thank God & First Coast Surgery Associates again for all that you have done for me and giving me my life back.

I have not had my physical appointment yet but the scheduling process was very easy and the phone receptionist answered every question I had as well as being very courteous and compassionate towards me and how I felt. I am looking forward to my appointment and meeting with Dr. Bassam!

If you want to be treated like a person and not a number, go to this office. Dr. Rizk is very knowledgeable and thorough. He explains all options of treatment available. Teresa and Rachel are awesome! This has been the best doctor's office I have been to in a long time.

He was surgeon for a colon re-section and obstructional hernia. He was very through and had a great manner about himself. My mother was an OR nurse for 30 years and now she wants to use him as well.

If you want to be treated like a real person and not a payment go see Dr. Bassam after a year of different doctors giving me other crap that didn't work I was stuck in the bed all day. He fixed my issue and gave me other options . You won't be wasting your time.

This doctor sees you when you need to be seen as often as needed and takes his time. He knows his patients and gets to know the one taking care of them. He has helped me MANY times. I love Dr Rizk and his amazing staff! Teresa & Rachel handle the front and patient rooms like angels.
