Dr. Beatriz Ruiz-Yedwab, MD

We've been sending our kids here for 7+ years. She is very knowledgeable and thorough- she will take time to answer questions, chat, and explain everything to you and your child. Sometimes though, there is a bit of a wait because she is spending so much time with patients, and she isn't there full-time so there is a months long wait to schedule a yearly checkup. We wouldn't go anywhere else though. Her husband is also a doctor there and he is very nice. As in the other reviews, we didn't care for the main nurse either as she was all business-like as they say, but I didn't see her last time we were there- wonder if she has left. The staff is very nice as well- although I wish the glass window was clear and not frosted, as they don't see us, and we don't know who is there until they open it.

She is such an amazing doctor. The best bedside manner with patience and great knowledge and sincere compassion for you and your lil one. We love her, her husband Dr Alan Yedwab, and their friendly staff too! Very easy to make appointments and always seen on time. She is the perfect combination of professional and personable! Shes an amazing pediatrician and we cant say enough great things about her! We have been so impressed with her and are so lucky to have her!!

Exceptional pediatrician

Excellent doctor, i switched pediatrician due to wait time was too excesive. And i love my decision staff and Dr. Ruiz are excellent

Been going for 10 years and we love her!

All 5 of our children have seen Dr. Yedwab (aka Dr. Betty) for the past ten years. She is always professional, courteous and caring. If she is unavailable, her husband is almost always in the office and he is equally as competent.

We have been going to see her since my daughter was a newborn, 5 years ago. She is wonderful, and she does take time to talk and answer questions, so sometimes there is a wait to get into a room, and then to actually see her. The staff is nice, but the main nurse is all business, she doesn't smile much or make small talk. She doesn't even greet our children, which is disheartening because you would think she would want them to relax and feel good about being there at least. She just isn't soothing or anything, I think she's calmed down a little since she had a child of her own. I wonder why some people get into nursing, its not all just business and shots, I've seen other nurses with the same attitude. "Bedside manner" is a huge part of the patient experience and will affect your bottom line, just saying.

Dr. Betty is great! Her staff on the other hand is terrible. So terrible that I am honestly considering finding another doctor.

Both the doctors are great. both my kids are under Dr. Betty's care and sometimes we visit her husband Dr. Yadawab. They are great, very thorough, take the time to speak to us. Unfortunately their staff has much to be desired. Very unpleasant service, most times feels like they're doing their 'job'. They rarely show compassion, they're very curt and to the point, here is the room, very direct. I wish some of the goodness/kindness of the doctors would rub off them.

Dr. Ruiz-Yedwab is a very caring and knowledgeable pediatrician. I called her answering service during the Thanksgiving Holiday and she was nice enough to call me back from her home on her day off and talk to me for a long time about my daughter's symptoms. Her office even called me the next day when they were open to ask how my daughter was doing. She is easy to understand and very patient. I highly recommend her.
