Dr. Behnam Ben Shenassa, MD

Dr. Shenassa is a physician which we all hope to have. He takes his time to listen to you and explain his diagnosis and he makes you feel so comfortable in his office. When your test results come in he calls you at home with the results. He has always been kind, gentle and conscientious. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a great urologist.

I was starting to loose faith in doctors until i met dr shenassa, he treated my grandma for kidney stones. due to her age there were some complications, so all night almost every hour he would personally come and see her, never seen bedside manners quite like his, i would def recommend him.

As a retired Dr., my faith in Dr. Shenassa and his skills are based on old school values and relations. Dr. Shenassa is a professional and has a good heart that expresses itself in everything he does. I had a chronic and complicated condition that I only trusted Dr. Shenassa to address. He weighed the pros and cons with me and we went into surgery as a team of Dr. and Patient. I recommend Dr. Shenassa.

In my opinion he is the best urologist in California.

I was referred to his office by my gyno for frequent UTI's and most recent labs showed blood in my urine. I have an annoying HMO plan. I was able to make an app right away. My only negative would be the wait time but they did warn me when i made the appointment so i do appreciate that. Dr. Shenassa was very pleasant, did not rush through the appointment like most dr do now days. based on his exam and my medical history he gave me all my options and even encouraged me to get a second opinion. The front office staff are very nice always smiling. The back office on the either hand a bit disorganized, anyways dr shenassa recommended that i have a kidney ultrasound and a xray called KUB, having a HMO everything needs to be authorized, i though to myself great here goes a couple weeks but to my surprise while checking me out they also submitted the auth and got it authorized, that was very impressive. overall one of the best experiences i've had in a long time at a doctors office

Office staff were unprofessional and not very pleasant, good physician but unimpressed with overall office staff!

I had to obtain a few opinions before and after seeing Dr Shenassa. I finally decided to have him perform my complex kidney surgery. He was amazing. He had walked me through all the expectations before and after the surgery. Results of my surgery have been great, as I do not need any further treatment. He is tough when it comes to managing the pain after the surgery. I think his approach is actually great. Thank you, Dr Ben.
