Review for Physicians and Office Staff at Dermatologists Associates of Glastonbury When people decide to practice medicine, there is an implied oath of compassion and care for patients and people in need of care. My spouse discovered a significant spot on their face that has enlarged, and it is lumpy We wrote to these people on Saturday because there is no way to get a hold of anyone during the weekend And can you believe this so called Office if dermatologist send us a an email this morning saying "Unfortunately we are not taking any new patients" A spot check is a simple procedure not brain surgery but it is of an urgent and timely nature in identifying potential skin cancer and this so called Physicians and Office staff sends the email above Shame of you! Medical Practitioners and offices with this lack of compassion don't deserve your business or a license to practice.

I just sat on the phone for 7 minutes after the front desk staff told me to hold and did not ask me to hold and left me on there so I hung up and called again. The same exact thing happened so I have now hung up since I cannot get through to the front desk. She was rude and after reading the reviews I would not go to this practice.

It is impossible to get appointments at this place and when you do you are left waiting for 30-40 minutes to get into the room. THEN you have the pleasure of waiting further until she gets in there. I am no longer comfortable with her 5 second look over. How can she possibly see anything at the speed she goes? The person making the appointments is rude. Every year I have to go months past my last years appt because she is all booked up. It's only a few weeks I'm told. Really doesn't care if you want the appt or not. They need to stop taking on patients and focus on he ones they have. While I was waiting 3 women Had a 3:30 appt with Zubkov. How is that possible? Stop being so greedy and learn how to interact with your patients

I agree with the person above with scheduling. It's ridiculous to have to wait 12-14 months for an appt.! And they are accepting new patients - they can't handle the patients they have. You never get to see the Dr you request. As for Dr. Zubkov , it took longer for me to remove my clothes than for her to do the full body screen. Hardly looked, I had to point out the area of concern. She had to do a scraping biopsy so she gave me novacaine. No sooner did she pull the needle out she started scraping . A little painful to say the least. Maybe she thinks novacaine works in 2 seconds but I'm not a Dr and I know it doesn't! Didn't seem to have much time for my questions even though the office was almost empty the day I was there. The office staff seems more concerned with talking and laughing with each other than in doing any work. Very unprofessional atmosphere! This is my 3rd visit and this was the worst one! I'll be looking for another Doctor. If I could give minus stars I would.

I have been to this practice @ 6 times in 8 years. It would have been more often BUT- it takes 14 months to get an appt. You rarely get to see the same doctor twice, it's whoever is available and you're supposed to be grateful just to get in to see anyone. The staff is GREAT but the scheduling is ridiculous. This was a first time visit with Dr. Zubkov- when I mentioned how frustrating it was to have to wait 14 months and to usually see someone different, I was told to tell med. school students to go into dermatology, then heard how she could work until midnight and it wouldn't be enough. Hey- take fewer patients, provide more consistency and make getting an appt. more reasonable. When I said you can go to Manhattan and get in to see a derm in a few weeks she said, go ahead, and pay out of pocket because they won't take insurance. I'm already paying $14k a year (after taxes) to insure self plus one and STILL have to pay several hundred dollars for these visits plus several… hundred more every script. I'm disgusted with all of it. She might be a good or even great derm but she seemed as frazzled as I was so her manner was rather curt. But then, at 14 mo. it could be years before I'd see her again! You can't really tell a doc how the meds are working and making you feel if you don't see them for another year! Forget teen acne sufferers, you'll be out of college before you can get the kind of regular visits that condition requires. I'm a teacher (making peanuts) and I wouldn't accept a class of 80 students when I know I can only reasonably manage and effectively teach @ 25. But I don't get paid more $$$ to keep adding students. I'm going to try Yale/New Haven, then Manhattan. I'm tired of feeling like we've been "processed".

She was not attantive to my questions and concerns I was dissapointed.

Very fast and cursory skin cancer check. Missed areas of concern until I pointed them out to her. Yes -turned out to be cancer and she didn't see it!
