The facility is modern, clean, and has a calming atmosphere with nice artwork. The nursing staff was friendly and efficient. My appointment started on time, which I appreciated. My main concerns were about the consultation time in the exam room. The physician came in with two other people (possibly residents). Despite UCSF's current masking policy requiring masks in all patient care areas during respiratory season (Nov 2024-April 2025), none of the three wore masks. The doctor seemed very knowledgable and I felt confident that he was certainly well-qualified. The consultation felt a bit rushed, but I received some helpful explanation about my condition and treatment options. However, the doctor told me to "message if anything changes," but I later realized without specific guidance on what changes to watch for. And the follow-up process wasn't clearly explained during my visit, which left me a bit confused about next steps in my care. The doctor clearly has impressive credentials,… but I would have appreciated adherence to the facility's masking policies and better communication.

Disappointed. No lab or medical exams were taken during my visit with Dr. Breyer at UCSF. Not even a simple urine or blood test. I got billed $867. A second consultation was requested by Dr. Breyer via Zoom (video call). This consultation ended up being just a message that the doctor preferred not to proceed with surgery. This is something that the doctor could have shared via email with no charge. I got billed $397.05. Also, terrible communication and most of the time diverging information between what communicated by the doctor, his assistant, and the billing department. Just sharing my experience.

Dr Breyer is a very nice man. I believe he does good work. He spends about 2 minutes with his patients while his workers spend the remaining with you.Do not expect to be educated while there. His receptionist is really bad at timely communications. The billing department. WATCH OUT!!!!!! Keep your eye out on the bills and the money you send. Be sure to double check your calculations and DO NOT TRUST these people.
