Benjamin K. Buchanan, MD

Dr. Benjamin K. Buchanan is a board-certified sports medicine physician with Intermountain Health, specializing in non-surgical orthopedic care for patients of all ages, from youth athletes to active adults. He serves as a team physician for Utah Tech University and Dixie High School, providing comprehensive sports medicine care both on the sidelines and in the clinic.

Dr. Buchanan diagnoses and treats a broad range of orthopedic conditions, including fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, overuse injuries, osteoarthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. His clinical interests include diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided procedures, and evidence-based, minimally invasive treatments that help patients return to work, sport, and the activities they enjoy.
