Dr. Benjamin Felty, DPM

I saw Dr Felty several years ago for a bunion and had surgery to remove the bunion. I started therapy and after several weeks I became concerned because my toe was not moving up and down. I had a follow-up appointment with Dr Felty, and told him I was not able to move my toe up or down. He offered to send me to get an MRI done but I declined because he said, "I can feel the tendon and the tendon is intact". He advised me to continue therapy and so I did exactly that. After several more weeks of continued therapy nothing was improving so I decided to seek another opinion and the orthopedic surgeon I went to see wanted to get an MRI, so I went to get one done. The doctor called me back with the results and advised me that the tendon in my toe had been severed. I had to have another surgery to have the tendon repaired! I would not recommend him to anyone!!!!!!!

Dr Felty's calming bedside manner, his non-intimidating style of teaching concepts at any level of medical understanding, and his attention to detail to ensure the success of surgical procedures truly makes him stand out from the rest. I could not more highly recommend him to anyone with foot and/or ankle issues!!! A++++
