Dr. Benjamin Hernandez Flores, MD

Dr Flores is pretty creepy if you are a female patient. He makes sure that you know he is divorced. He likes to share his wonderful single life with you. He is one of those psychiatrists who went into the practice because he is so screwed up.

Dr Flores prescribed unnecessary medications, with no benefit, which had such severe and crippling adverse effects (which were immediately apparent when he prescribed them) as to force me out of graduate school and work for many years. He furthermore compiled such dangerously inaccurate medical records, including misreporting medical records from previous doctors, that the reports he sent to later doctors caused them to make inaccurate judgements as well. It took nearly a decade before later doctors came to the conclusion that Dr Flores had been completely in error and I should simply be taken off all of my medication---at which point my health was immediately fully restored.

Dr Flores seems to be professional, caring and knowledgeable, up until the moment you decide you would like to move on, in my case with a female psychiatrist. After I declared my decision, Dr Flores turned against me and refused to communicate further with me. He told me "that since I was not going to be working with him in the future he "had no obligation" to provide closure to our 2 year relationship. This is an egregious break in the code of conduct for licensed psychiatrist.

Impossible to get in contact with this guy when you have questions. Doesn't seem to care for his patients.
