Dr. Benjamin David Hawley, MD

I started seeing Dr Hawley for a cough I had that wouldn’t go away. It was finally diagnosed that I had a spot in my throat which he took a biopsy of. I have been diagnosed with lymphoma and seeing an oncologist. Had Dr Hawley not caught this so soon, it could have been much worse. He is the most compassionate doctor I have ever worked with.

Dr. Hawley is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. My appointments have all been on time. Dr. Hawley spends whatever time with you that you need. He answers questions clearly. Dr. Hawley performed septoplasty for my nasal infection with mold, and he fixed my deviated septum. It's really been life changing to be able to breath easily through my nose. I would recommend Dr. Hawley to anyone having nasal issues. I am not thrilled to go to any doctor, but Dr. Hawley is one of the best!

My daughter started having an extremely painful lump on my jaw, and was sent by her PCP to Dr. Hawley. He diagnosed it as a cyst and told her if it wasn’t gone in 6 weeks, to come back and have it surgically removed, but that he didn’t want to do the surgery because the lump was close to a nerve and he was “likely” to paralyze the side of her face. It didn’t go away, but she was too scared to go in for surgery (obviously). Fast forward a few months, and she was in horrible pain-she couldn’t eat, she couldn’t drink, and the entire side of her face was swollen. She was sent to an oral surgeon, who through X-Ray knew it wasn’t as simple as a cyst, so sent her in for a MRI. The MRI revealed that the lump that Dr. Hawley said was a cyst was actually a ball of infection, and now the entire side of her jaw bone is infected. She has to undergo IV antibiotic therapy, and if that doesn’t work, she will have to have the infected side of her jaw bone removed.

I had septoplasty surgery May 2019. I believe he only did one side. Now a year later I have to go through the worst pain in my life agaiy. Very disappointed with results. Had concerns at follow it appointment, Dr. Hawley just nodded and looked right through me

My 6 year old son had Surgery this morning. I was frustrated in the beginning with the staff for repeating that my son needed his biological Mother present and i kept stating that i am his Mother, but after seeing Dr. Hawley being so smooth and calm...it helped me to calm down and relax. I STRONGLY recommend Dr. Hawley to assist in your medical need(s).

Has a lot of compassion very kind glad he’s my doctor

Dr Hawley examined my father, who is an elderly man with hearing loss and some dementia. He was so patient and kind with him, taking his time to explain things to Dad so he understood and was very caring and compassionate to the situation with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an ENT.

Haven't visited a physician as compassionate as Dr. Hawley in a while - highly recommend.

Dr Hawley took a call on a Sunday night from my family physician because I had an ear, or other infection, that might have been very serious. They agreed I should go to an emergency room and have tests done to determine the risk. Dr. Hawley called the hospital and asked them to call him with the test results (which came in around 11pm!) The problem turned out not to be life-threatening but I did get treatment and medication at the emergency room and then saw Dr. Hawley two days later. He examined me and performed a minor surgery in his office. I have seldom seen a doctor who was as obviously competent, but friendly and compassionate, too. He even had a playful sense of humor. Excellent doctor and excellent patient experience!

I had to havve surgery on my trachea this last month. I was terrified about having surgery due to the fact that I have severe anxiety problems. Dr. Hawley was extremely kind and patient with me. He treated me like anyone else and it made my experience amazing. I would reccomend Dr. Hawley to anyone needing help with ENT things.
