In a world of oblivious, unconcerned health care, Dr Jacobson stands out far above the rest. He is in the moment with you, bringing his expertise, caring, remarkable talent with medicines and diagnosis.

First, holy crap. I'm embarrassed to read some of these reviews from people that are obviously seriously mentally ill. One of them is a rant about SSRIS and mass shootings, and the other says he gave her PTSD? What?! Anyway, in the past year I've had great experiences with him. He really listens. He doesn't push pills. He's helped me adopt a healthier lifestyle, etc. Be careful reading reviews. Remember that he treats the mentally ill.

Warning everyone! This is what I experienced and what you can expect from his Antidepressants and SSRIs: Akathesia Restlessness Insomnia Anxiety Possible Brain Damage Suicidal and or Homicidal Ideation / Action Why are these poisons legal? They are legal so these misguided and dangerous drug companies and people can have jobs, so psychiatrists can charge hundreds of dollars per hour, so social workers can have jobs and these so called "professionals" can make a living at your expense. All this profit-driven behavior and reckless prescribing of these poisons is so they can addict you to their business model and drugs and keep the money coming in. Wake up and wean yourselves off of this madness, which is the main reason for the mass-shootings in our country and other problems, like crime along with opioid abuse. Sick, sick, sick!!! Chemical imbalance - frequently used as an excuse for medication protocols. The simple fact is that there is no evidence that… there is any such thing as `chemical imbalance'. Ask any reputable physician about this and he/she will agree `chemical imbalance' is a still unproven theory. It's never even been properly tested so how could it ever be proven? I could write paragraphs about my disturbing experience with this man. I saw him 3 times. He was nice enough the 1st time. Then he found out who my neurosurgeon is and said he “studied under him”. After that, he became increasing rude and flat out nasty. He said he would help me lower the dose of a medication and try something to replace it. He did not. He said he “can refill any prescriptions your old doctor has been prescribing”. He did not. The last and final session, he asked “What are you even doing here?” “Just because you’ve had surgery doesn’t mean you have a problem”. (I have had a craniotomy and brain surgery) He abruptly ended the session by shouting, yes, shouting at me and my husband. Then he walked out of the room as I’m crying my eyes put. He consistently lied to me and my husband. It was so bizarre! I have been severely traumatized by this man. I have PTSD because of this man. Please be careful when mentioning other doctors to him, because he apparently has it… out for not only for the surgeon I mentioned above, but another doctor I mentioned as well. He should not be practicing medicine.

Dr. Jacobson himself is decent in the session however getting said session or getting any response regarding care outside of your appointment is terribly hard to the point of stalling major changes in my medications for over a month with very little communication. His office is understaffed and overwhelmed and he doesn't have enough time to care about a patient beyond their session and readily admits you will most likely not be able to contact him directly but has no problem saying if you have questions about your life altering medications just call. If you are in need a patient focused Doctor this is not the place for you. If you like your therapy like a deli counter number system well then, take a number.

I have been visiting Dr Jacobson since 2016, and I could't be happier. He remembers each and every conversations, takes copious notes, and is pretty accurate with his diagnosis. Also, pretty prompt response for an emergency. I would highly recommend him for someone going through a tough time
