He stereo typed my son immediately, he has scoliosis. He couldn't even read the xray to tell me the degree of curvature. He was uncaring, unprofessional, he doesn't need to be a doctor. He didn't even take time to examine my son at first just said live a healthy life style, eat a healthy diet! Yeah that will fix back pain. Barely made eye contact, tried to say the computer wouldn't let him measure the degree of curvature. The radiologist had already put the information in his report., but he didn't bother to read that. Incompetence at is finest. KARMA

I had an appointment with this doctor at a certain time. I showed up 25 minutes early as requested. I was taken back in 8 minutes. I then waited for an hour and 15 minutes before the "Doctor" came into the exam room. No one and i mean no one came in to check on me, to let me know the Doctor is running behind nothing. The Doctor comes in and apologetically stares at the laptop monitor complaining about the internet being sluggish to look at my MRI, never actually showed me anything on it, nor did he point out what he was concerned about with the lumbar region needing work. Again stated with my size i am at high risk of blood clots infection recovery time yadda yadda yadda. Never apologized for making me wait for that length of time. I was in COMPLETE AGONY when i left. I wouldn't have him to surgery on me for nothing. He needs to work on his bedside manner and concern for his patients. Sad with someone who is regarded as a top notch spine surgeon he has a lot to learn about… sympathy, compassion and concern for his patients. I would never recommend him for anything. It's sad cause i am in extreme agony as i write this and i really need this surgery so i can have what life i have left back........

was told that my mri needed to be looked at by a surgeon because the damage in my back was so severe. They scheduled me with Dr Knox. 2 days before the appointment, they called and changed it to a later date. I was promptly taken back to the little room to wait for the doctor. He showed up 35 minutes after my appointment time. To top it off, he had not even looked at my mri . He said he was having connection" problems. He was unapologetic and uncaring. No personality and no professionalism. What a waste of time, not to mention the amount they will charge me for wasting my time to sit and wait for NOTHING!

Came in exam room, never looked at me, just have me diagnosis and walked out. Wish I had reviews before seeing him.

DR KNOX is a professional Dr. He does know his practice techniques really well. There is some back conditions that cannot be completely cured. My husband has seen him several times and is doing great with his back. It never pays a person to throw a Dr. to dirt because someday he may be the very one you will need. Years of study went into his profession. He must have done something right before because 32 yrs of practice its a little late to say he doesn;t know his profession.

Dr Knox did my surgery in 2005 & I haven't been right since...he did my surgery & sent me home the same day in excruciating pain!!!! Even the hospital staff said couldn't believe it....My last encounter w/ him, I was still complaining about the pain & he told me, "you just going to have to deal with it!!" I filed a complaint & shortly after that he was run out of town. Rumor has it that he messed so many people up & was often very unprofessional that the practice finally had enough & let him go!! Well...I can't speak for no one else but can speak for myself...he was rude & messed me up for here I am 11 yrs later & my condition is worst than it was then...each yr getting worst than the one before...I have been to every therapy facility from one border of the state to the next!! I have lost my spirit, my life, my career...everything. I'm here now cuz like said I am now worst off then was & he crossed my mind for this is plain out ridiculous...he should lose his license, should of… been lost them from what I've been told...& this came fr another Dr. I'm sorry for don't wish anyone any bad luck yet he needs to find another profession....Wish I had done my research for he would of never touched me b/c after he did,...I haven't been the same since, my quality of life is poor & I am home on disability, depressed & still seeking help w/ this pain & symptoms...often there's days, I can barely walk...or can't get out of pain...I am scared to death to let anyone touch me that's for sure...Do yourself a favor & RUN...don't let him touch you....he hasn't been to all these hospitals & facilities for nothing...surely he gets kicked out!!! In the mean time, I've been doing research...looking thru my old nursing books & on the internet & I'm positive I know my true diagnosis now therefore I am praying on this as I switch MY PRIMARY, who is not right either & praying that it's not too late & can get my life back, once & for all.

Had a car wreck, my neck was hurting all the time. Dr knox put a shot in it and has not hurt since.

I agree with the other reviews he walked into the room like he was mad. He then ask me what my problem was even though I have been there before and diagonesed with a back problem he never looked at my file. I was in a lot of pain and could not stand up straight he said it's just a nerve and sent me on my way.

Dr Knox was extremly curtious and professional. He took excellent care of me and explained each step in my treatment and recovery. I highly recommend him. Thanks to him I am able to walk without pain.
