Dr. Benjamin A Leshin, MD

I was scheduled to come in for a back injection at this office. The day of my appointment I called to get more information. When I called the office assistant said I had a regular appointment and not a back injection. I informed her that the doctor, Dr. Benjamin Leshin told me in the office that I would get a back injection at the next appointment. She proceeded to argue with me that the doctor would never say that. I kept the appointment hoping when I arrived, they would realize their error. When I arrived at the appointment, the nurse told me it was a follow up for a back injection. I informed the nurse that I hadn't yet had a back injection. They were confused as to why I hadn't had one yet. I explained to them that the office scheduled me incorrect. I asked if I could get a back injection today as I am in a lot of pain. I was told no. I told the nurse that I called the office trying to get information on my back injection appointment and they told me it was a follow up. Then the… same office assistant afterwards told me that it was impossible for me to have a back injection appointment because it was my first appointment. I showed her paperwork of previous appointments proving it wasn't my first appointment. I told her that even the nurse said they had scheduled the wrong appointment. She continued to argue with me. When I told her I was in a lot of pain and was frustrated that I had to wait another six weeks to get the injection now because the office scheduled me incorrectly, she told me I'm not the only one in pain and that she was in pain too. Needless to say the office staff at this doctors office are mean and uninterested in helping patients. I urge you to find another doctor.

This man has no business practicing medicine! He is rude, condescending and completely dismissive. Smug, know-it-all attitude. He misdiagnosed me and suggested dangerous treatments while completely ignoring me. He even refused to examine the areas that were actully in pain, claiming he was in too much a rush to take the time to do so. Ultimately, he offered no treatment plan moving forward. He is a total disgrace to the practice and a danger to his patients! Staff was also rude and incompetant.

He seemed to be truly interested in a care program to help me get over a painful condition of the hip area with which I have suffered for four years.

After an office staff member made a scheduling error Dr. Leshin refused to see an 82-year-old patient who can barely walk because she had shown up without an appointment. The visit would have taken the better part of 10 minutes,. This man has no business being a doctor.
