Dr. Benjamin Carl Mannix, MD

I just had the worst experieence possible. he kept me aiting 6 months for lenses,dragged me in on a hot sticky summer day . The lenses fir well and when I was to taake them he removed them ans said"We follow a policy of only issuing lenses to patients who can pay. He did not quote any price and they are not covered on insurance although the support group is lobbying for it, I could have paid had a price been quoted. The senseless cruelty left me in tears.

Not sure about Dr Mannix, never got to see him He should replace the woman or women who answer his phone. Took 2 weeks trying to make an appointment, referrals they couldn't find, and then told me he wasn't taking new patients. Isn't that what a referral is about? I wasted 2 weeks getting badly needed care because of their uncaring incompetence. Just tossed my referral and didn't have the decency to let me k ow he wouldn't see me.

Nice personable Dr.,did a great job, and has a great staff.

I've been to Dr. Ben several times and am pleased with his care.

The whole staff, including Dr. Mannix and the other doctors, were so warm and welcoming!! The are excellent. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and they made the whole experience seem easy! NO pain or discomfort at all!!

It has been hard for me to follow up on 6 month visits, living out of state( La.) but Dr. Mannix is very thorough! It is hard leaving a good physician, so I'll try to visit

The service, quality of care and general atmosphere of all the doctors and employees is superb! They are all top notch and the friendliest people that I have experienced in years. I had two cataract surgeries and never once felt any discomfort or pain! They are absolutely the very best!! luv them all!!
