Dr. Benjamin Martin, MD

We have seen Dr. Martin 3 times now and will be switching doctors. Every time we have waited in the examine room for a long time to have him come in for about 3 minutes look at my son’s X-ray and when we start to ask questions he says to email. I asked him to speak to my son today about the consequences of not wearing his brace and he basically said it was not his job to get him to wear it but he will need surgery if he does not. I honestly can’t rate his medical expertise because my son’s scoliosis was a pretty straight forward diagnosis but his bedside manner is certainly lacking.

Dr. Martin was very hard to get a hold of. Once we finally got his attention, after numerous calls and emails, he was cold and not caring. The most troubling part is that Dr. Martin did not provide adequate guidance for how to manage our son's injury, or what the next steps are. His office was rude and unprofessional. Stay away if you can...

Great surgeon. Spend 4 hours on our kid to fix his hip. Great job.

Three of our four boys have seen Dr. Martin. He is a terrific Orthopedic Specialist. He is knowledgeable and knows what steps are necessary to take care of his patients. It helps that he too had Leg Perthes when he was a child. He is able to relate to his patients. I am so glad we found him over 5 years ago. My boys really like him as well. My oldest, 13, no longer sees Dr. Martin but when he heard his brother was going in to see him asked if he could go just to say hello. Highly recommend Dr. Benjamin Martin. Wonderful Doctor.
