Dr Benjamin Phillips explained exactly what is wrong and how he was going to repair it. I sincerely trust him, his medical knowledge and his judgment. I highly recommend him! Also the fact that he specializes in plastic surgery is amazing since the incision is on the top of my hand. I had surgery 3 weeks ago and my incision looks amazing. I'm so impressed! Also the entire staff is friendly and makes you feel at ease even through some not-so-easy time.

A bicycling accident that involved a guard rail left me with a partially torn tendon in my index finger. The ER doc at South County Hospital referred me to Dr. Phillips who surgically repaired the tendon and restitched the original wound. Under his care, ninety-days later, and with intensive physical therapy, you can barely see any scaring and I have full use of the finger and hand with only a small amount of residual stiffness in the finger. I fully expect the finger and hand will be 100% recovered before riding season in the spring. I recommend Dr. Phillips without reservation.

Ran pretty fast with a packed waiting room. His nurse was very gentle and compassionate when she treated my wounds. He was very skilled, honest and professional about my serious injuries!

This doctor was rude to me when I told him about my pain. I can't believe he has a practice. Dr Benjamin Z Phillips has a chip on his shoulder for whatever reason. I have pain in my wrist and this doctor didn't know the cause so sent me on my way. He said he had other patients and was too busy, but I can come back another time, and he may try to figure it out. I want my money back, he doesn't smile, or greet me, just a miserable man.

Dr. Phillips is a professional and well trained doctor who has helped me on many occasions. He has always been kind, compassionate and thorough and has diagnosed my issues accurately. I would recommend him for any hand issues. He always opens early and runs very efficiently!

Dr. Phillips was absolutely amazing and listen to all my concerns. His assistant Rachel was also very kind and introduced herself with a beautiful caring smile. She also did a full work up on me and went over all my history. I’ve been to the other physicians and never had anyone update my records. They both work well together and I’m glad they took the time to listen to me.

Dr. Phillips is an excellent doctor and person. He took the time to listen to my concerns and treated my pain. He sees a lot of patients but still found time to make me feel heard. I'm not sure why he got other reviews that were negative but he was knowledgable and easy to talk to.

I didn't know a hand doctor and I saw that Dr Phillips was associated with South County hospital. I found him to be unpleasant. I tried to tell him about my hand mobility, and he said he didn't know the source of it. I asked him if he could treat it, he really didn't want to. He said that he didn't know what's causing it, and I asked him if he would take x-rays, he didn't want to. I must say, he is the worst doctor I have ever been to. He didn't want to try to help me, I found another doctor who spent the time with me and was awesome. As for Dr Phillips, he is the most unprofessional, rudest, most disrespectful doctor I have ever experienced. He is just not nice and I am a nice easygoing person. Avoid!!!
