Amazing doctor! Great all around.

After being seen by a previous Neurologist for over a year who did not do anything for my husband. . Dr. Remington seen my husband within 1 month and surgery within 2 weeks. He was a Godsend.

Dr. Remington is caring, compassionate, & so knowledgeable. I would recommend him to my family.

Dr. Remington made me feel at ease by taking the time to explain my condition and Answering my questions.

Dr. Remington acted like I was in significant and my concerns or issues were not important. He didn't really have the time for me. I am a work mans comp case there for I must be just trying to get off work. I have a disk fragment laying on the nerve that runs down my leg. I was told I could have surgery and take the chance of dying or having a stroke or many other things that could go wrong or I could just wait it out and see if it goes away.I don't know but he didn't make me feel real secure about having the simple surgery to pull the piece out and relieve the pain. Maybe he is a really good surgeon I don't know and don't plan on finding out. I think I will search out a different surgeon.

This review is for anyone who is thinking about having surgery for any condition by this "so called doctor". I emplore you to seek a second and perhaps third opinion. Dr. Remmington performed back surgery on my husband and he is now unable to walk without assistance and is in constant pain, more pain than prior to his surgery. The surgery is somewhat routine as far as back surgerys go, a discectomy and lamenectomy at L4-L5, which requires an incision about 4-6 inches at the lower back. My husbands incision is 12-13 inches all the way up his back. Immediately after surgery, my husband knew that something went wrong. He was in excruciating pain and his right leg was numb, from hip to foot. Unfortunately, my husband is currently an inmate in a california correctional facility and had the surgery with a doctor that they contracted. Being that he is incarcerated he was unable to get immediate medical attention to correct his issues, in fact, since the surgery 6 months ago, he has had 4, yes… only 4 visits to the physical therapist and NO corective actions have been taken to address the final outcome of his surgery which is a condition known as "Drop Foot Syndrome and RSD". He had a follow up visit with the good doctor who told my husband, "let's just watch it and see what happens". HIs right foot is completely turned sideways and inward so that he is actually walking on the side of his foot. He is unable to walk without assistance from his walker. This doctor is a "Butcher". DO NOT let this man cut on you or your loved one. My husband now wishes that he would have never had the surgery and that his prior degree of pain was much easier to deal with than what he is going through now. He has been told by other doctors that during surgery, the good ole doc must have snipped a nerve or tendon in his leg by mistake. He will probably have to have more surgery to release his foot back to where it is supposed to be but he will have NO range of movement. Since being transferred to a new medical facility in Stockton, 2 other inmates have arrived there that have been operated on by Dr. Remmington, one is paralyzed in a wheel chair and the other one doesn't know his outcome yet as he is still in constant pain and has been told, "let's just wait and see what happens". Please seek other options and opinions, it's not worth it!!!

After being scolded by Dr, Remmington's receptionist for only being 15 minutes early, instead of a half an hour, I was told to "just sit in the waiting room and wait to see if the Dr. wants to see you. 20 minutes later, I was led back to a small room where I waited an additional 30 minutes. When Dr. Remmington did finally come into the room, he excused himself to take a referral phone call from another Dr. Upon coming back, he gave me a very quick questionnaire and exam, and said"sorry you're in so much pain, you'll probably get better, try a cortisone shot." I Immediately went to the referral department of my primary caregiver, and urged them to stop making refferrals to his office. Worst Dr. visit I have EVER endured.

It took a couple calls to get into this office and I'm glad I persisted! The office staff was very courteous and Dr. Remington was great! I felt cared for and felt he listened to me about my concerns. I would highly recommend him and have sent friends to see him as well. I was thankful, in my case, surgery wasn't recommended or needed. I appreciated the doctor wanted to try other avenues first. And they worked!

He was very smart, he explained everything well to me, and he truly cared about me getting better. Highly recommended!

KRISTIN THE RECEPTIONEST IF HORRIBLE. POOR SERVICE AND DOENS'T RETURN PHONE CALLS. I FAXED OVER SOME DOCUMENTS AND CALL TO VERIFY RECEIPT AND SHE COULDN'T EVEN GETT OFF HER CHAIR TO CHECK.
