Dr. Benjamin Alexander Ross

I think Dr. Ross is great. When we first moved to Denver we saw him and he was very thorough going through with my son's medical records in detail, and he also helped getting my child an appointment at Children's hospital, when we couldn't even get on a waiting list after waiting to hear for six months . Afterwards we returned to Dr. Ross because I believe his team is genuine and that he treats all of his patients as individuals and with the best care as well. Dr. Ross reads all the EEGs himself, when all other neurologists we have seen depend on the EEG department to make the assessment, and the other hospitals only provided snippets of the EEG recordings for their neurologists. The fact that Dr. Ross takes the time to do this himself, shows me how committed he is to his patients. Don't be so impressed by gigantic hospitals and their futuristic lobbies. Take my word for it, Dr. Ross and his team at Children's Rocky Mountain Hospital is the place you should bring your child for… excellent health care. They have a straightforward no- nonsense practical way of dealing with medicine. Five stars for Dr. Ross!

Would not recommend this Doctor to anyone. "Exam" was nonexistent, and Dr. Ross was dismissive. The drop down menu for wait time isn't working on here but we waited an hour past our appointment.

We are having a great experience with Dr. Ross and highly recommend him. He is willing to take the time and be open-minded to help us figure out how to help our child. His staff is fabulous.

Our daughter was not expected to live past birth. Once she was born and appeared to be normal we were basically sent home with no understanding of what we were going to face in the future. It was not until Dr. Ross got a hold of her file did we finally find someone who wanted to be pro-active and not re-active. We look forward to a better understanding of how her sweet little brain functions! Your staff is the best by far on the phone when working with people from out of state. AWESOME

My son saw Dr. Ross due to seizure issues and a large cyst he is having surgery on. The staff got us an appointment within the week we called, and we waited less than 5 minutes to go into our appointment. My son has extreme sensory issues and just simple doctor appointments are usually a nightmare. The staff at Rocky Mtn Neurology and Dr. Ross were so understanding and caring with my son, it was by far the easiest appointment we ever went to with him. They all have a wonderful way with children! Dr. Ross was extremely knowledgeable and understanding to my sons situation. I felt a lot less anxious and very much at ease about my son's condition after meeting with him. We look forward to continue any treatment with Dr. Ross!

We were given an appt that fell during the physicians lunch hour when he was making rounds. He did his best to rush back to meet our appt and I was fine with the wait, but it started our meeting off on the wrong foot. I did like him very much, felt confident in his abilities and knowledge and the options he presented to us. My only complaint is that nobody, not even a nurse called to follow-up with us. My subsequent calls to his office though were treated thoroughly and promptly. We will continue to bring our daughter to his office.

We met DR Ross as a consult while in the hospital. He confirmed the diagnosis that my child had GBS. His bedside manner was great. My 3yo liked him and looked forward to the "funny doctor" coming in to see her, while we were at the hospital.

Dr Ross, had us waiting 20 mins we were the only people in the office. We got into the room, he had NONE of our paperwork - NO TEST RESULTS! They were already received by his office, his partner has access to the results. He said these things happen - Um NO THEY DONT! We drove 1.5 hours e. way, paid a 30 dollar co-pay and got no answers, nothing! We missed his call back when he figured out how to access the results, when I called him back (and he said he would talk to me) I got a nurse who gave me a diagnosis and a perscription. While I was at the office I asked when do I follow up - he had NO ANSWER. Really? Not impressed with Dr of the Year 2009!
