Worst horrible person I’ve ever seen in the medical field.

12 years ago after spending years on very high doses of narcotics I was able to retire to the area and get an appointment with Dr Venger. Every Doctor I had ever seen just wanted to keep giving prescriptions for narcotics because in their individual professional opinion that was the best thing that could be done to treat my injury. Dr Venger could have easily done the same if all he wanted to do was pad his income. After our first visit he asked how bad did I want to get off the medication or reduce the amount of medication I was taking? He said what he was suggesting was not going to be easy. It was going to mean when I started reducing the medication it was going to be the hardest thing I had ever done. After looking at what I really wanted to happen seeing a new doctor Dr Venger implanted a spinal cord stimulator into me and after getting adjusted to that form of pain management I am now taking less than 90% of narcotics every other Doctor wanted to keep prescribing. His actions… does not demonstrate a Doctor who doesn’t care. This doesn’t demonstrate a Doctor who is only wanting to pad his bank account. And lastly this doesn’t demonstrate a doctor who is a bad doctor. He’s not that type of doctor. I have seen plenty of them in treating my injury. Dr Venger is genuinely concerned for his patients. His staff reflects the same professionalism as he does. We deserve and need more doctors like Dr Venger

For over 2 years i saw dr venger and he was awesome but then they put me with someone else and holy cow--the worst ever. Was accused of being an alcoholic and the strongest drink I have had is Pepsi. NEVER alcohol

Do NOT under any circumstances allow Dr. Venger implant a neurostimulator! Mine was botched from day one. My battery sticks visibly out of my back and one of the two leads were placed in the wrong spot. I've begged several doctors to remove this implant, but due to the bad placement of the leads, no one yet is willing to touch my back. The battery sticks out of my upper buttox/back hip area to the point where I must be very careful how I put on and take off pants for fear of ripping skin (I've done it on many occasions as the battery sits just below the skin and clearly juts out). Dr. Venger has no sympathy for patients nor does he like to face his error even though representatives from the neurostimulator company have confronted him with the error in placement. He's nothing but a pill pushing quack. There's a valid reason for the several investigations that have been conducted on him by state and DEA officials.

I have seen Dr. V for almost 4 years,, currently see Dr. Janokowski,, TSP has been very helpful and caring for my needs,, I am an AVM brain surgery survivor 30 years post surgery,, they have been very understanding and compassionate to my pain management needs

Dr. Venger told me with a smile that he was cutting back my pain meds not because the government told him he had to, but because it made him happy!! He is no longer in the pain management business, but in the money business. I have never abused nor ever will and he knows that. I have been seeing him for several years and the experience with him & his staff is becoming intolerable.

One day after waiting over 2+ hours just to get a prescription for medication I had to leave because I was hurting to much to stay....I was number 34 and they had just called number 21 (no name just a number on a placard). First time I seen this doctor was approximately 10-15 minutes of "Hi, I'm dr. ........... . Then wrote approximately 10-15 thousand dollars worth of test to be done. Waiting approximately 3-4 months after these test were done I still have not been told what the test results are. I think my 5th visit will be coming up in a couple of weeks... I'm still trying to figure out why it takes 2-3 hours to pick up a prescription and never seeing a doctor !?.

You are suppose to trust your doctor, but in Dr. Venger's case I have lost ALL trust in this man! He over books his patient's to the tune of a 2 hour minimum wait. Sometimes as long as 3.5 hours. The urine testing labs are either corrupt or intentionally misdiagnose my test, which came back saying I had ingested some medicine I have never had. These doctors get kickbacks from the testing labs, so don't be surprised if they say you've been using some drugs, which you have not taken. This gives them reason to retest more often reaping more profits and costing the patient more money. The worse part about this doctor is the fact that I have not been able to fill my last Rx because several pharmacies have said they will NOT fill Rx's from Dr. Venger's office. When I called his office to find out why these pharmacies won't fill his prescriptions they put me to another person who does not answer the phone and want you to leave a message. If you are considering using this Dr. for pain… management, try to find another doctor, unless you want to spend a lot of time in a state of FRUSTRATION & ANGER.
