Dr. Benjamin Aaron Waterman, MD

I was having stomach issues and had barium swallow xrays done. The report finding said normal yet the body of the report indicated that I had a abnormality. Dr. Waterman read the report and called me, he told me to get to the ER right away. You see I needed surgery, the report was incorrect. He called the radiology group to tell them they needed to change their findings. I had my emergency surgery and lived to tell the story! Dr. Waterman is not only a caring doctor but he is very thorough. He save my life by paying close attention to details.

I don’t usually write reviews but my experience with Dr Waterman was so good! It was evident that he really cares about his patients and he really took the time to listen to me. His follow up post visit was comforting and I am happy that I will be coming back to him in the future.

Dr Waterman is brilliant and kind. I love how he explains complicated medical issues in a way that I can understand and together make decisions about my care. So happy I finally found a doc that I hope to see for decades to come.

Dr Waterman is incredibly compassionate and personable. He is wise and took time to learn about my history to understand and properly diagnose me. I appreciate his calls after each labs and his professional and sincere manner. I am so grateful to have found a physician that cares deeply about my health and always has a clear plan in place.

I was diagnosed with the wrong condition multiple times by Waterman. He was aggressive and stubborn in insisting he was correct. My condition was actually life threatening and Waterman's diagnoses were way off the mark. This man will destroy your life if you see him for any condition that isn't cosmetic.

I've been seeing Doctor Waterman as my primary care physician for three years now. He has an excellent bedside manner--he is very approachable and takes the time to both fully understand whatever health issues are ailing you and to explain what treatment is appropriate and why. He is old enough to be seasoned and experienced, but still has intellectual curiosity and is current on all the medical literature. I've thrown a couple of curveballs his way with esoteric medical conditions, and he's consistently drilled down and taken the time to learn the medical consensus and refer me to a specialist when appropriate. Many doctors these days do not care about their patients and are in and out as quickly as possible, seeing everyone problem as something that can be solved with just an Rx. Dr. Waterman is not one of these doctors. He cares about his patients and he takes the time to make sure that you are getting the best possible care. Likewise, he has gone to bat for me against… insurance companies, specialists who are giving me the run around, etc. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Goes above and beyond for his patients. Kind, thorough, caring, I would recommend him to absolutely anyone!

Dr Waterman is the type of internist that everyone dreams about. He is extremely knowledgable. He is up on the current research in most areas but if he doesn't know something he will do his own research. He is smart. He is kind. He is a good communicator and a good listener. I can't say enough about him. I have recommended him to family and friends and everyone who has seen him, has loved him, as well.
