Dr. Bennett Sanford Romanoff, MD

Make sure you get a second opinion. He told my wife that her eyes were too scarred to have cataract surgery due to having RK. He told her she just above being legally blind and there was nothing that could be done. This took a major toll on our life. We were making plans on where we wanted to travel to before she was legally blind. He kept prescribing new prescriptions for her glasses. One day she grabbed her old glasses and found that she could see much better than his new prescription. So that was $1200 dollars of wasted money. We finally decided to go to a different doctor and were told that cataract surgery was no problem and in less than month she was scheduled for surgery. Three years of thinking she was going blind was very stressful on us and our marriage. Do not go to this guy. When we told a friend about this, he told that upon his visit to Romanoff, he was told that he had glaucoma. He went for a second opinion and was told that he did not have glaucoma. He is all about… making money not taking care of his patients which what a doctor is supposed to do.

Both staff and Dr. Romanoff were excellent. Very caring.

Absolutely wonderful physician! Super knowledgeable, competent, compassionate and excellent care for all his patients, always takes time to explain processes and answers all questions courteously, he really cares about his patients!
