Dr. Beri Melissa Ridgeway, MD

If I could have chosen zero stars, I would have. While Dr. Ridgeway appeared caring during my office visits, when my surgery was completed and I had pain issues immediately post op, I was brushed aside. It is now 5 years and 3 surgeries later to repair damage from the transvaginal mesh that was placed. I am still on pain meds, have lost my career in nursing, and have basically lost my life. I cannot pick up my grandkids, shop for groceries, etc. The basics of my life have been taken away. My advice, do not place your trust in a physician. Do your homework (research) and do it WELL prior to trusting a physician's word alone. I thought because she was a woman, that she would not steer down the wrong path and lie to my face. I was wrong.

Excellent communication skills to both me and my husband. Gave a complete explanation of procedure and expected recovery. Four years later, no recurrence of problem.

Excellent doctor, hard to get appointment even after being an established patient.

I have PTSD and any gyn. exam was torment before I met Dr. Ridgeway. I did not know pelvics did not have to hurt until she showed me. I have had a number of gyn. issues over the past few years and she has gone far out of her way to make the experiences tolerable. She has coordinated 2 surgeries with doctors in 2 departments outside of gyn. When I had surgery I went to sleep holding her hand. She just is extremely kind and gentle and very respectful of my special needs.

Very knowledgable. Easy to talk to. Did not rush me. Gave me many options of treatment. Before I went to her I had no hope of getting better. After I saw her I knew I was in the right place.

i am saying that dr ridgeway is a GREAT DR. she knows her stuff and i would tell everyone that she is GREAT. problems go see DR Ridgeway
