Best physician hands down!

Ease of appointment and courteous staff would be 5 but disliked the front desk gals. That is not in his control.

We followed him when he moved from Creighton and now that he's left Methodist we will do it again. He's been my son's doctor for 11 years and he's amazing

Dr. Douglas is a wise and gentle pediatrician, acting first as a counselor and advisor, allowing the parent to select treatment by preference or cost and does not force his diagnosis and treatment plan. His interaction with our children causes them no fear or anxiety. He communicates clearly in layman's terms.

Dr. Douglas has been my children's pediatrician since my first born came into the world almost eight years ago now. He knows our family well, he pays attention and he is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered.

Dr Douglas was the only reason we stayed with that health system. He is an exceptional, thorough, empathetic, accurate doctor.

I have a two year old boy and an almost 3 month old baby girl. My 2-year-old actually likes going to the doctors office because of Doctor Douglas. He really connects with the kids and builds that trust with them from the very first visit. He's also very informative and makes sure any of my concerns are addressed. My favorite thing about Dr. Douglas is that he comes across like a family member. The very first time we brought our new born son (now 2) to see him, Dr. Douglas made sure we as new parents were doing ok as well. I remember him telling us we were doing a fabulous job, "you're doing great." he said to me. As a new momma - (and being kind of overwhelmed with all that comes with that territory) - that little encouragement was huge to me. He's a great Doc and we highly recommend him!

27 years ago when Dr Douglas was just a resident. He was the only doctor that believed me that my son was sick with more than just an earache. He waited for me outside the ER and told me to keep bringing him back they wouldn't let him run more test because we had no insurance. I brought him back they called the cops on me for child abuse but but then found he had a bone infection and I wasn't abusing my son. He believed in me and I have never forgot.
