Dr. Bernard Eric Lakemaker, DO

I have been seeing Dr. Lakemaker since I was in my early 20's (20 years now) and he has been consistent since DAY ONE! Wait times are only 10-15 min, he actually listens to what you say (and remembers it years later), explains what your condition is caused by, what can help... even shows you a pic or model of what he's talking about. He doesn't make you feel stupid when you ask questions and answers in "plain English" but will give you technical jargon without confusing you. Bedside manner just can't be found anywhere these days. He's both professional and cares. Only complaint I have is his front office staff is really short with me. She seems bothered if I call, but I put up with it since I get excellent treatment during the visits.

Many doctors don't really listen when thier patients speak. They check you out, tell you what to do about it and send you on your way. Dr. Lakemaker spends enough time to get to know who you are and how well you take care of yourself. He recommends the life style changes you can make yourself, before reaching for an Rx pad. That said, he does a full check before sending you on your way. I have been seeing Dr. L for 10 years and have been very happy with him. He's a little handsome for my taste; but I try to overlook it.

I'm very happy with Dr Lakemaker. He takes the time to explain everyting to you and listens to what you have to say.
