Dr. Bernard Louis Swartz, MD

Twenty one years ago, I was five months pregant and in a serious car accident. The er folks took xrays and found no breaks in my face, but a few weeks later, when removing all the stitches, Dr Swartz recognized visually, and confirmed by ct scan, a broken maxilla and zygomatic arch. Working with advice from a local obgyn to ensure the safety of my baby during the surgery, he re-set and plated the bones, anchored a busted tooth and stitched my face up with minimal scarring. He inderstood my need to have the minimum necessary procedures, (although I might have opted for more scar mitigation, nose work, etc) because of the pregnancy risk. I went into a cardiac event after the surgery, and he came and visited me the days I was in the Cardiac Unit. He was thorough and caring throughout. The titanium he put in my face was supposed to be "good" for five to ten years, but it was fine for eighteen, when the tooth began to break down. Let me put it in simple terms DO NOT see this doctor. One of my breast implants fell out in my bathroom sink. Since then I have had to have two surgeries to repair the massive damage he caused. He did not put skin expanders in and he did not put the implants under the muscle. I have a least one more if not two more surgeries to go. Every doctor and nurse I have seen all say the same thing they have NEVER seen or heard of a implant coming out of your body. This is no joke....

Dr. Swartz, did an excellent job on my tummy tuck. I was so worried about having this procedure in the end it was all worth it. I feel so much better about my appearance.
