Dr. Bauer is a brilliant rheumatologist. I've been seeing her for 10 years, and every time I mention her name to another physician in NYC, the response is, "She's very smart." Dr. Bauer has been my rheumatologist for nearly 30 years. That's a long time! Not only is she empathetic, but more importantly she keeps up on the newest medication and research in her field. She knows how her therapy and treatment has worked for her various patients and is always reflecting on the efficacy of various cures. Actually, I feel better than when I first met her, and I'm three decades older. I've seen her in four offices -- two on the West Side and two on the East Side. My only suggestion is that perhaps she should keep her records in digital form.
